The historic inn is located on a quiet street and the delightful courtyard is ideal for enjoying breakfast. Perfect location. |Every person on the staff was professional, very welcoming, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Savannah-what to do, where to eat etc. |Our room/suite was very spacious with a comfortable king sized bed and sitting area as well as a spacious balcony overlooking the courtyard. |Nice touches were bottled water in the room on arrival and upon request, wine in the evenings, flavored water always available in the lobby as well as a newspaper. |We were a little disappointed with the breakfasts and there was no grab bar in the bathtub even though we had been told when making our reservation that there was one. However, the staff immediately provided a seat that solved the problem. Pressure in the shower was not very strong and water was not always hot. However, these are typical quirks when staying in a historic inn. The staff more than made up for any minor inconveniences and Dan was especially accommodating. |We would stay here again. The free parking was a huge plus.
Delightful accommodations, excellent and friendly staff, finely done breakfast, and well suited to discover the historic district. As you can see from my photo, the rooms are old-school beautiful and well appointed. Clean. Bright. The bath was likewise lovely. Not inexpensive, but worth it for a getaway weekend. Walking distance to riverwalk and attractions all around. Front desk ladies are excellent hosts. Recommended.
We enjoyed our visit here. The hotel is in a very convenient location that allowed for easy walking to nearby shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. We appreciated the staff, particularly Scarlett at the front desk. She let us check in early and upgraded our room. One of the family was not feeling well and Scarlett went out of her way to serve her breakfast earlier than usual. Scarlett also had some helpful sightseeing tips. We all enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend this hotel.
This is such a cute, quaint historic inn. The rooms are *very* spacious. Free, easy parking onsite. The free breakfast was delicious. The location was perfect and we were able to easily walk to all the touristy sites. The inn is furnished with antiques, presidential photographs and books. ||I want to also personally thank Scarlett. She was so kind, sweet, and hospitable. She was very knowledgeable of the area and gave us tips on sites, transportation, and shopping. At 7:20am (a whole 40 minutes before breakfast was even ready to be served), I became very nauseous (I’m 1st trimester pregnant). I asked Scarlett for a piece of bread to snack on while I wait for breakfast. She jumped up and came back with a whole plate of yogurt, granola, fruit, and a muffin! She continually went above and beyond and really added a personal touch to our experience. ||I highly recommend staying at this lovely Inn!
The propertyis well maintained. The staff are really nice and friendly. The breakfast every morning was perfect. This is one of the few properties that has self parking available. We were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go. I'll definitely be staying here the next time I visit Savannah.
The hotel is perfectly located and feels like a peaceful haven as you enter the courtyard. The inn and rooms are clean and spacious. Kara, and all the staff we met go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Two choices for breakfast, both very good, kudos to the chefs. Coffee ready early which is much appreciated. We had a lovely stay.
The President’s Quarters Inn is just awful. My son and I went on an overnight trip to Savannah for school shopping. Room #302 costs $323.52 for a night. We booked the Inn at the last minute. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and commented that we chose a great room. He asked where we parked, and I told him beside the Inn. He instructed me to park in the Inn parking lot and walked outside to show me where to go. The parking lot was full, so we had to loop around the Inn to park in the initial spot. I was required to pay for parking until 8 PM. My son and I dropped our bags in the room and left to walk around downtown for dinner. When we returned, we took showers.
There was lukewarm water, no water pressure, the makeup removal cloth smelled sour, and my son's towel smelled of wet dog. The carpet had numerous stains, the decor resembled a bad cracker barrel attempt, and the mattress and pillows were VERY uncomfortable. From 11:00 PM - 3:00 AM, we tossed & turned due to the terrible mattress and pillows. Also, the people in Room #304 were having sex, and you could hear clearly through the paper-thin walls. Their bed would squeak loudly, and the headboard would bang against the wall. At 3M, they were at it again. My son was up on his phone, and I was awake. I asked my son if he wanted to go home, and he replied yes. We left around 3 AM, and I drove over 3 hours home so my son could get some sleep in the car. I do not recommend. I would never return.
The location is great!
Breakfast by Kandra and Hilda was delicious.
The rooms were spacious and clean because of Tasha and Ty.
Most importantly the people that work there are polite and helpful. Scarlett was super friendly and gave us the best advice for restaurants and beaches in the area while Kara, Gracen and Brandon showed us the best Southern Hospitality.
What a gem. This is a total find. The apartment is very large and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. We were two friends, so I used the sofa bed as an extra room. It worked very well - itâs big and comfortable and, if you ask, theyâ
Was traveling through and had the privilege of working out with a fun and talented group. The online sign up was super easy, was able to sign my waiver and reserve a class in a jiff. The gym was conveniently located and a quick walk from my hotel. T
