Awesome drinks (The Garden and Old Fashioned). Awesome food (flat breads and cheese boards). Improved customer service and new floor wait staff! Clean and revamped with new ownership who clearly is putting the time and efforts needed to make this establishment its best. It’s about time the Webster area has an upscale lounge for the more sophisticated crowd! I’ll be a regular for sure.

i had the margherita pizza and it was so fresh! i really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our bartender’s name was Lauren i think (she makes awesome old fashioneds so ask for her!) cant wait to come back next week! heart shaped ice was a bonus!

Stopped in on Saturday around 5 for a drink for the Houston Energy football game and we were very disappointed. There were 5 or so other people in the bar at this time. The place is in an unassuming strip mall but the interior is nice and spacious. Some of the furniture is run down but overall we felt comfy in the space. The ac wasnt working so there was no food and it was a little hot inside but we understand that these thing happen. They offered a 15% discount for the inconvenience. We ordered a dirty martini and a spicy cucumber martini which were both the worst drinks we've ever had. Also while the bartender was very nice it took a very long time to get our drinks.

Had the best time here tonight! Kallie was the absolute best. She was super engaging and so sweet. She has a signature cocktail that was revised.. definitely recommend having her make it the Kallie’s Version way. She was even able to recreate a drink I haven’t had in years! It was so nostalgic. Thanks for everything girl! Hope to see you next time!

We have been looking for an upscale place to get drinks at, been multiple times, and were delighted with the service and atmosphere every time. I'm almost afraid of telling too many people because this place is a treasure. Wonderful seating and their menu is everything you'd want at an upscale cocktail lounge. It's a place I'd like to see chess boards and table games geared more for of a sophisticated crowd. Also, it looks like they may have live music from time to time. I will be continuing to come back to try the food. Also the prices for the drinks are great, and made correctly so the enjoyment of a properly made drink is preserved which I love.

I decided to give Preamble another try knowing that they are under new management and I’m so glad I did!! The new owners are serious about making your experience and good one. They renovated and made tons of improvements throughout. They brought back my favorite drink that wasn’t on the menu and it was even a hit with others! I love the atmosphere and can’t wait to hang out with friends this weekend.

Let me start off by saying that my husband and I have both been in the service industry and are very understanding when it comes to being short staffed or when drinks take a little longer etc. We have been here several times, and have never ever had good service. We decided since we just finished with a movie (and there are new owners) that we would stop in. Well it was 30 minutes we will never get back. We sat down at the bar top (since that’s where you typically get better service) and were passed by two different girls without being acknowledged and we sat there for around 6-7 minutes until the male bartender said he’d be right with us. Ok cool, maybe that was just a fluke. We ordered two of their featured holiday drinks-1 of which they were out of an ingredient so we changed that order and the second-when received was plain and without the garnishes that are pictured. Not a huge deal, but for $12, give me the cute garnishes. We sat there without another word spoken to us for 10 minutes AFTER we finished our drinks. While we were sitting there all I hear is the bartender complaining and cussing about other people leaving him with nothing and that he’s going to make the people at the tables wait so he can make the bar top drinks. He then asks us if we want something else and we were going to (15 minutes ago) but changed our mind and decided to close out. We will never go back. Key things to note- -They were mainly talking to and spending time with regulars or people who work there on their day off drinking. -The vibe is a trashy dive bar in disguise as a “cocktail bar”. Drive a little further and go to Rose Water.

Stopped in here to grab a drink and found out the HH is all day on Mondays, the day I visited. The normal drink prices are not bad for the area, and the HH prices are fantastic. I ordered a spicy cucumber martini to start and it was unusual, but delicious. The drink and the ambiance were so nice that I called my girl and asked her to join me. We ended up staying for several hours, ordering some Old Fashioneds and some snacks. The Old Fashioneds were very well executed and delicious and only $6/ea! The pretzel sticks were much better than expected, and the stuffed roasted mushrooms were also quite good. The bartender was obviously skilled, but also very friendly. I'm a new fan of this place and will be back soon.
