An awesome place to relax and connect with friends over some amazing cocktails and tasty wines! Shout out to Stephanie for providing some amazing service! Did you know that they have so many award winning wines?!

Nice winery in a small town. Very relaxed, no pressure or rushing through our tasting on a Saturday afternoon. Good variety from dry to semi-dry to sweet wines. Recommend tasting the Cab Franc. They also make their own spirits (gin & brandy). Nice patio in the back (tastings are only at the bar!)

Very good place to have a wine tasting with great food. The people there are really nice and talk in a very good way. I think the owner greeted us when we entered and showed us the table. We went on a Sunday so made sure we are at the right time they open. We tried the 4 glass wine tasting and it was so filling and great. The cheese platter was extremely good. We also ordered some food including a flat bread and a sandwich which we thought was not necessary. Overall it was a great experience and I would come here again

Be prepared for a wait if coming during a busy time. 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month there is music in the garden (get there early)The Food is actually pretty decent and I recently learned they update based on the season so that's nice. No extra condiments/ spreads for sandwhiches though.

Service was a little slow but okay. Bugs were biting so we ended up inside. Cheese board was cheeses straight from a Target or Walmart cheese tray. Nothing exotic or tasty about it. Still once inside.. Not a bad setting. Wines were nothing exceptional but better than some. Wide variety. Something there for everyone. Only food items you could order gluten free was the cheese board and they did have some Gluten free crackers to go with. Not real over priced. Good parking area... But in town no vineyards to look over. But still enjoyable once inside.

One of a kind winery experience! We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating a friend's birthday here. You can choose to have a wine flight or a tasting at your table with excellent sandwiches or delicious starters. Then shop the store for the favorite wine you tried during your meal. It's hard to pick up only one bottle because each label is designed by local artists and there's so many delicious wines to choose from.

What an absolute wonderful experience. The patio is beautiful and the staff is so friendly. We truly loved our first visit. Me and my partner both enjoyed a flight of wine, but my favorite was the "recovery noir". It's honestly the smoothest red wine I've ever had and I ended up ordering a few more glasses with our dinner as well as taking a bottle home. They have a very limited selection of food, which is one of my "negatives". That being said the Raspberry chicken sandwich was delicious. My personal critic would be to extand the selection a little and have a few salads and maybe a few kid friendly items as part of their menu. The other downside of the evening (and what lead to a 4 out of 5 rating) was just our observation of how management acted. It was clear he has rules for his staff that he personally didn't have to follow. We saw him sit with a few tables of people it seemed he knew, but he never approaches our table or really many others to see how the night was going. At one point a reserved party arrived and it was apparent it was for his 40th birthday celebration (there were balloons). I can't imagine he was off the clock for this event and he was certainly not managing his team as the staff had to cater to him and his party for more than 30 minutes before we finished our stay and left, him still partaking in gift opening and celebration. It just felt... Inappropriate, but maybe I'm being a prude. My personal opinion is lead by example. If it's inappropriate for your team members to be "overly friendly" with patrons, then you may want to reconsider got having them cater your personal birthday event while it seems like you're the only manager on staff for the night. Overall we had a great experience and will be back, with more friends. What a special little place in Genoa, IL.

Former wine club member. I used to enjoy coming here primarily as a short getaway from the city. Last visit, I arrived per usual to enjoy some wine with my partner. I attempted to go to the bar, order a glass of wine, sit down in the member lounge and relax. There was an event ( which no email was sent to notify, I guess it's FaceBook only which I do not use ). The "General Manager" informed me that I could not order wine from the bar, I need to go on a waiting list and the members lounge was full. He was cold, snooty and at no time attempted to engage me beyond a smug, dispassionate, blank stare. I explained to him this was out of context for me. I've been coming here for well over a year and this has been my routine since day 1. At no time has anyone told me the bar was for "tasting only". I explained this to him and it was a very bizarre interaction. I have a year at least of doing this very thing. I think he was really trying to be as passive aggressive as possible, primarily due to any lack of attempt to understand where my confusion was and what was going on. Additionally, he's telling me "no...you cannot order wine here" when I have done this for the past year. Not sure what his issue is but decided to grab my bottles, cancel the membership and never return. Whatever is happening in your life, you need to understand there is nothing special that would enable that sort of attitude. The wine is mediocre as well as the food and environment. The big draw for us was the peaceful outdoor setting in the summer and the lounge in the winter along with the small town vibe.
