A wonderful surprise tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Oakland. We truly enjoyed the intimate experience of this lovely coffee shop surrounded by big trees that provided shade for the outdoor seating. As you come inside, it feels as though you are entering someone’s home with thoughtful decor, a couch and tables. The menu, although minimal, offered all you would need for your morning pick me up! We enjoyed the cold brew coffee with a hint of lavender and vanilla, plus a light breakfast. It was perfect for a hot day! While you wait you can even walk through the adjacent gift shop. Will definitely be returning to this quiet, charming venue.

Prairie House Coffee is a hidden gem amongst a swath of below-average fast food places scattered between Winter Garden, Oakland, and Clermont. This is BY FAR the best coffee shop anywhere in this area, and it really reminds me of something you’d see in a charming small town in Vermont and New Hampshire! If you’ve ever seen Gilmore Girls, it really reminds you of that whole setting. I’ve visited Prairie House many times as it’s pretty close to home, and I’ve always been very happy with everything they offer. They have excellent coffee, teas, and other drinks, really good pastries and incredible sandwiches and light bites! They strive to be as organic and gluten-free as possible, so this ends up being one of the healthiest and best gluten-free options in this whole side of the Orlando area!! The building is so cute - it’s an old classic Florida home that has been converted to the coffee shop and a farm store (2 stores share one building) and they have a white gazebo as well as plenty of seating both indoor and outdoors. During the fall (at the time I’m writing this) they even have a pick-your-own pumpkin patch next door! Not sure if it’s owned by Prairie House or not, but just another reason to come here!! We have gotten many things from their menu: both lavender mint and strawberry vanilla house-made sodas, taste of autumn, invincible, midsummer’s night, as well as the nutty professor, glorified grilled cheese and avo sandwiches! Plus some pastries like the banana and pumpkin muffins (pumpkin is incredible), blondies, and more! Everything is so, so good!! Their coffee drinks are amazing - sometimes they have specials, like now they have pumpkin spice, and another time they had one with basil and other unique ingredients! You NEED to try their glorified grilled cheese because that’s one of the best sandwiches I have ever had - period! This place is so far superior to anything in the area and I know you’ll love it. finally went today after wanting to go for so long, omg i loved it more than i expected !!! the food was so fresh, healthy, and light - didn't leave me with that nasty heavy feeling of too much food. many nondairy + gluten free options. loved the matcha w macadamia milk, lightly sweetened w brown sugar. some cafes ruin the drink by adding wayyy too much sweetener but prairie house is perfect :)) overall i am definitely returning, so excited!! tbh it is a liiittle pricey ($22 after tip for drink and toast) BUT the freshness and quality is MORE THAN WORTH IT !!! girlies if you're debating coming here - RUN, do not walk and come try it !!! this place is the real deal

I love this little coffee shop! I’ve come here ever since they opened. I’m not sure if they changed the matcha or macadamia milk, or if the barista who made my drink is just extra talented, but my iced matcha latte looked and tasted absolutely exquisite today! Prairie House’s matcha is always good, but it’s a step even above that today! (Photo included with no filter.)

The best coffee in town! Smooth & creamy! We always order vanilla lattes with oat milk. They also had some food to eat. I love that they use a lot of organic ingredients, like with the syrups and also gluten free and refined sugar free sweets. Such a relief to see healthy options. The cafe is really cozy with tables and sofas inside. On a beautiful day we enjoy sitting outside - there is a lot of open seating. The girls working there are so sweet!

I am sure the food is delicious and coffee … but you have to pay attention to service . I walk-in the place and its beautiful perfect balance of boho chic .. look at prices on the menu they are high … even by fancy coffee standards … I say okay maybe not everyday it’s a treat … I stand for 5 minutes not one good morning or hello, welcome .. the staff seemed completely unconcerned with the customers . For that price I expect some service with my coffee . I will try again but I did not have the time to wait and there was no apology for wait, nor acknowledgement of my presence. This is just to alert management … happy to adjust my rating in the future .

Omg!! LOVE Prairie House Coffee Co!! My latte with lavender & vanilla was delicious & the pumpkin muffin was, also. Such a quaint & beautiful place with gorgeous majestic oaks!! Everyone was friendly & the outside seating area is wonderful!! Will definitely return!! Thank you Prairie House!!

this is my first time visiting Orlando so i decided to make it a bike and coffee trip for my local blog back home in nj. after adding a few local spots to my queue i decided this one would be first since it was right off my bike trail back to universal studios from w garden. the staff were polite, upbeat, and seemed very delighted to be working there. i was greeted promptly and placed my order (a mocha cappuccino, nutty professor sandwich) both perfect portions for the type of fuel needed for my bike riding experience. the whole decor was very cute and welcoming. i saw a few people doing business taking calls or minding to their adorable children. it was a very welcoming and fun little spot across the trail ways / by ways. i noticed many people enjoying their meals outside and it appears to be a very low key , chill spot for locals. wifi was great. staff was great. flavors of all the items. so many different varieties. not only cafe food but great palatable items.
