One of the best gyms I’ve ever been to! A lot of the reviews talk about people filming and “wannabe influencers”, I understand some people don’t want to be filmed but the people filming themselves do it for good reason and are just trying to better themselves. This gym truly feels like a community and every person I’ve ever talked to here is nice and outgoing. The equipment is all brand new, they frequently change the padding on machines if they are ripped and the vibes in this gym are like no other. I typically go at in the morning and the gym always opens on time and the staff is extremely friendly. The owners are super nice and I’ve heard them ask for feedback. I would recommend this gym to everyone and love being a member at Powerhouse Brandon.

The gym itself is solid, the people who go there and the staff are cool. But the men’s bathrooms is not cleaned regularly. It smells terrible, there’s pee on the floor and the walls around the urinals, and the toilets and urinals have scum on them most days. You can always tell when they have been cleaned because the smell and appearance is noticeably better, but this happens maybe twice a week.

The Gym is nice, but is really uncomfortable working out with people with tripods filming. instead of relax and working out today I was checking someone phone where was pointing out so I was not going to be in the shot. So if you prioritize your privacy stay away.

Great gym. Some machines missing due to gym being too new. Great selection of beverages for a two month old gym. Staff was friendly. Enough dumbells to please the heavy weights and the light weights.

Great gym, well maintained. Employees are awesome and always welcoming the moment you walk in the door. Great facility but large groups will act like they own the gym and intentionally stand in front of your equipment. Has happened on multiple occasions. If you see large groups training at once recommend walking back out and trying again later.

Not sure how to feel about this gym. It’s good, decent, fairly priced, not too congested like many other gyms in the area. However, it’s definitely not the typical Powerhouse you’d expect the experience and quality of machines to be — like in other cities. I’ve worked out at many other locations around the country and these two locations in Tampa & Brandon have to be one of the most disappointing. There’s no professional maintenance that routinely inspects or repairs the equipment. They just wait until it breaks and you injure yourself. The staff walks around with a toolbox and WD-40 as if that qualifies as a certified repair. For this gym only being a year old, it has a lot of used and rusty machines that are waiting to break and injure you at any moment. You can tell they acquired the majority of their machines used or brought over from their Tampa location. I’m very disappointed how this franchise represents the brand.

The Gym itself and the Staff are chill. Sadly I agree with the other reviews, there are way too many wannabe influencers setting up their tripods right in front of you. It’s hard to not be in view of someone’s camera. I get recording yourself to check on your form but these people make it their life to record themselves. On a couple occasions I saw people walking around with DSLR cameras filming… wild. If the invasion of the cameras would be addressed I’d give this place 5 stars .

Place is clean and well maintained and includes enough machines and equipment that I don't have to wait long. Very few people hoard the dumbells and camp out on the equipment while playing on their phone. Unlike gyms like Planet Fitness.
