Power of Leverage is a top notch gym to learn Jiu-Jitsu. I have quite a few friends in Jiu-Jitsu since 2011 and have watched them teach and have visited other schools and have even shopped around different Jiu-Jitsu schools. I have friends that are black belts that have their own schools. When we came to Power of Leverage to visit however, it just felt like the right new home for our family. My husband, myself, and my 2 older girls train in Jiu-Jitsu. We had been at a previous school for 4 years and then felt our family needed a change. I had met Professor Kelly at a competition a couple years ago and he opened his doors for us to visit. What I loved is hearing my 2nd daughter (who was struggling with Jiu-Jitsu overall) say that she likes it here because "Professor Kelly is nice to little kids and helps me out a lot." We are about 11 miles away from this school, but find the commute worth it for the quality of teaching. Their coaches are very engaged. Professor Kelly and Mrs. Maya take great care of their gym and know all the kids by name and even their parents! They have a way of talking to each person and child and making them feel important. They have built a great team and truly make it feel like family (not a dysfunctional one). You know how they say it takes a village to raise your child? I found the village that I want to be a part of.

My daughter, Sophia, who just turned 6, has been attending the Power of Leverage for over 8 months. It was the best decision we ever made. Professor Kelly and his staff of teachers are amazing. They are patient, caring, and teach the kids with discipline and grace. We've definitely noticed how she has matured and respects us when we discipline her. An addition to the latter, it is fun! Sophia loves attending her class and has made new friends. The parents are also amazing.

We love Power of Leverage. My kids enjoy learning BJJ because of POL. They have fun learning and making many nice friends there. Prof Kelly makes it fun for the kids and we enjoy watching them learn. Maya is very sweet and helpful with everything. We highly recommend starting your kids early. Wish we did. Luckily they are still elementary age so we’re not too late.

Incredible gym for our daughter. She started at 7 years old and has never had a negative experience at the gym. Professor Kelly and his wife are a wonderful team and run a wonderful business. There are a lot of kids at this gym and somehow Professor Kelly remembers everyone's name. You can tell they care about every child.

Great program for kids of all ages and abilities. Builds confidence, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship. Professor Kelly is a great teacher/mentor, the kids all love him and work hard for him. You will not find a coach anywhere that is more dedicated to their students.

Our grandkids were visiting for a month in the summer and really wanted to try Jiu-Jitsu. Power of Leverage is right down the street from our house so we went in and asked about a few classes. The owner and his wife are super nice people and got the kids set up with uniforms and classes right away. The grandkids loved it! I highly recommend this business as it was a great experience for all of us.

Prof Kelly (owner) is the most hospitable gym owner I have met. Me and my girlfriend were visiting US for 3 weeks and Power of Leverage was right around the corner. We were so lucky to have found this amazing gym. The facilities and amount of mat space here is everything you need and more! Prof Kelly made us feel so welcome and we are suppppper grateful! I highly recommend this gym. Thanks again guys! 🙏

My kid been training over year and he continuously wanted to come early and does not want to miss any classes. Best training for the kid to develop physically and mentally. Best of all, we felt like a part of big family. Best coaches and Professor Kelly and Mrs. Maya!! Much love and respect. 😊
