Worst experience ever I have been skiing and tubing my whole life. I took my kids for the first time on a family vacation and the lines were awful we only went down two times in a two hour window because we spent the rest of the time waiting for the lift. The staff is rude and not helpful. The staff at the bar was rude and on the tubing slope my daughter is too little to go on the lift alone but they didn’t even offer to let us go with her. She fell on the lift over and over ….. what happened to the kind people who were polite and helped when people needed help…

Went today 1/8/24, main lift was broken when I bought the ticket without there being information when buying the day ticket. I had assumed it was temporary so decided to do the two seater lift just for one run. After that, we realized that the line had skyrocketed to a 30+ minute wait and we asked employees information about the main lift, we were rudely told by employees that they had "no clue" and go ride the other lift (with a 30 minute) wait. We asked other employees who guaranteed it would be fixed today. We decided to wait it out, and grab food at the restaurant, which was probably the highlight of my day, and the food there was just okay. After that, we waited while we watched no work be done on the main ski lift. I figured asking for refunds wouldn't be a big deal since they could check our passes and see we genuinely only went on one run, but there wasn't an employee there to scan runs so of course there was no way to prove we weren't just riding constantly instead of waiting around for the main lift to open.

This place is a joke on 1/8 a major lift was down and wait lines were at 39 minutes long. No effort on management to fix it . You don't have spare parts or people that know how to repair? Are you serious, the woman I spoke to was the owners relative Laura. No refund and extremely rude she shouldn't be in business anywhere with that attitude. Don't waste your time snow tubing or skiing here. There are many other ski places here in CT that invest their time, help and money into their resorts. On the plus side the lift operator was nice not his fault the head bosses don't know what the heck they're doing. This place is so mismanaged , so sad use to be great place before they took over.

Went tubing. Check in was disappointing, took 30 minutes of our tubing time just getting checked in. Waiting in line to get up the hill they have a fire pit which an employee continued feeding with gas or some type of fuel, each time sending a black cloud of carcinogens in everyone face. Non existent management. Tubing was fun once you got to the top of the hill.

Great small place to see a band. The fires where warm but the VIP section did not feel like it. Dress warm or bring an extra jacket. in the fall it was colder than expected. The wind was coming down the mountain later into the night. Place is low key and relaxing. Nice night out.

This is a great mountain to learn the ropes. We had a lesson with Eli. He was great with my 8 yr old. Very patient and encouraging. Highly recommended.

Great place for tubing for families. Each person rides in their own tube so it can be a bit intimidating for younger children but once they go down the mountain once, chances are they’ll want to keep doing it. They also offer helmets for each person going on the tube.

1/12/24. Got to tubing check in and were told that we had mistakenly purchased tix to Powder Ridge in Minnesota! We were told we couldn’t even buy 2 tix b/c they had already oversold!!! Stood there. Me with an out of state guest and were turned away!!!! DISGRACEFUL! Awful customer service!! We watched and saw the awful lack of management…. Way oversold. You could get no more than 5 rides in!!! Kids and parents alike cutting the line b/c nobody was watching. Only half of the runs were being used …. They were lit up but not used! Finally, called Minnesota and without hesitation they refunded my wrongly purchased tix. They said it has happened there as well but the people are always allowed to tube…. Never turned them away.
