I was in DC, for a week and this is by far the best food I had. I even went back the following day. They have so many vegan options, I wanted to try everything. The stand out was the new steak bowl, crispy Brussels sprouts, and the egg roll dessert. The general tso, korean bowl, and hot chocolate were also really good. Employees are very friendly, place is spotless. I love the decor of the restaurant. I highly recommend it!!
Absolutely top 10 vegan spot in DC! You must try it. Even the rice itself is flavourful! All the dishes on point. Lemon crispy chicken, fried cashew-mozzarella croquettes, loaded trolley fries. All was super delicious! Staff is super nice and atmosphere is friendly.
I visited here not once, but twice, over the course of a 4-day business trip. I may have been the only vegan in the group, but it was actually my omnivore coworker who suggested it the second time ((🥲)). And in fact, initially, my other omnivore coworker told me about it after hearing good things from a local. That being said, I don't think I could have avoided this place if I tried. Obviously, it was calling my name.
On both occasions, I visited in a group of coworkers. We all really enjoyed our food and the chance to sit down together. I wouldn't say the atmosphere is crowded, but I can tell this is a popular place.
I was impressed by everything I ordered. The first day, I got the General's Chicken bowl (half salad half rice). The "chicken" was fried perfectly, and the sauce was great over everything. The second visit, I just decided to be wild and get the giant version of the Disco Stick Egg Roll... Absolutely zero regrets. It was heavy/oily like you'd expect from an egg roll, but the inner fillings are there at the perfect ratio. It really is a giant egg roll. I'm still kind of in awe of it.. Oh yeah, and I also got a Wonton Soup that day.
What a delicious vegan spot!
I had a cashew cream bowl, trolley fries, their wonton soup, fried rice bowls, their banana chocolate croissant desert and the Buddha bowl.
It was all delicious.
A very clean facility and attentive staff members. Everyone was great. High vibes there, and I loved the setting.
I highly recommend!
Very happy with the vegan options here. Lots of fun fried food as well as a few healthier options.
There isn't a ton of seating but it is a fast casual restaurant.
Really enjoyed the hot cocoa they are currently offering, will definitely be back to grab another cup!
The price feels a little expensive. Other than that, the food and atmosphere are both great. I am Asian. So Asian fusion cuisine was more interesting. The special kimchi French fries seemed strange, but they were surprisingly delicious. it's a little salty.
We have now gone to both locations. Both are great! This time, we ordered the angry noodles (again), chick'n fingers, and hoisin steak fried rice. Vegan heaven!!!
Some of the best vegan bowls I’ve ever had! We tried six different items from the menu and loved them all. The flavor in the dishes is really incredible. I love the balance of rice/grain, salad, and the “meat” topping. It really is the type of food that fills you up and leaves you feeling good. Would definitely recommend coming here!
