A great place to get out in nature especially if you do not want to be around a crowd. We like to airboat here and fish. Its nice to get away from it all. Some come out here to hunt during the fall season which is a downside for non hunters but everyone seems to co exist during these times nicely. Take a kayak or a boat and enjoy the real side of Florida!
Very, clean potapotty and quite campground I would recommend it.
I just love being out into the Southwest Florida water Management district lands so peaceful. Right now I'm in Potts preserve. Free boondocking campsite for up to 7 days you can't beat it and only 10 to 15 minutes from the city of Inverness Florida.
Great place to camp for free for a week. We got reservations for our friends from Maine to enjoy the warm weather. They camped in the west side of the area. Went geocaching but there was only one on this side of the preserve. Saw bright green tree frog, lots of water across the trail also..
This is an amazing place to camp. the roads are made of shells and maybe sand. Nice to ride on and pot holes have shells you can see. Lovely roads you can walk or drive but in some places may need a jeep deep holes and water. Their were mosquitos but we camoed bear waterz edge so understandable. Lots of wildlife here. If camping remember to enter code and push in then pull out the lock. We arrived at night and didnt know the trick so we had to return the next day and meet a worker. They have porta potty some sites have grill and fire pit and plenty of privacy. Their is a cleaning station for fish or something larger. Amazing place plan to return.
Great WMA! Has primitive and equestrian camping for FREE (must make an online reservation still however, no cost though), over 30 miles of really breathtaking trails, campsites with waterfront access to the Withlacoochee River (North Hooty Point Campground specifically), and it is super close to all necessary (and more than necessary ;) ) shops and stores.
Beautiful place. We will tell you dont follow the main road sign once you get tho the gate.take a left lol. We ended up having to back our 1959 Shasta camper about 1/4 of a mile backwards to a opening to turn it around lol. Back up practice. We loved it once we where in the right spot. Just beautiful! Really enjoyed ourselves. We will come back again.

This is a really nice WMA. We went on a weekday, and so we pretty much had the forest to ourselves. The forest is beautiful and set aside the aerial traffic above, it's a quiet, peaceful place. The roads are good for hiking or biking. We stayed on th

This is the real Pho and not an expensive fusion place. Staff was very nice and came back several times to check on us. Price, quality and serving size was spot on. Peanut sauce was wonderful. I know your re decorating and would love to see when

Really cool park off the Withlacoochee bike trail. The park has trails to walk or ride. Restrooms and picnic areas available. There's a small fee to enter the park $2 per cyclist if entering from the bike trail. It's definitely worth the fee if you w
Cooter Pond Park is definitely one of the best things that happened to that area. It's Fall, ð I knew that everything would be changing colors, so I decided to drive over there to capture it. It is breathtaking at any time of year. Especially now,
The trainers are fantastic. They are the reason I workout at AF. Iâm a senior and attend at least two team classes per week. Akin to a boot camp, these classes are challenging and combine weight training with cardio. The trainers conduct a warm
Just a great, friendly bar with a welcoming atmosphere and super staff. Packed on the Friday night we were here. Great place to hang out, drink, eat and meet folks!
All good. Wife had green spring. I had Philly roll and spicy crunchy tuna roll. Yum - update... had the Big fish this time. Wife had the West 10th. Both very good.
Driving to this field is a beautiful trip. Park has tall trees, some small picnic tables. Restrooms are available. Small playground for kids. The park is adjacent to the airport, planes landing periodically is a different sight.
