Great Equipment, nice location, but it is right next to a busy street with a few crossings. The fence is nice for keeping the young ones safely contained. I really like the slides, swings, and musical instruments. If you have a dog, they are welcome on the trails and sidewalks but not to come into the playground area where your kid will play, definitely didn't know that beforehand. Made juggling the kid and walking the dog tricky. Didn't see any restrooms in the park itself.
Low planes fly by, trains go by…awesome for kids! Wheelchair Accessible play areas. Street parking, gated play areas, port-a-potty (large and small). Splash pads in summer. Swings for mommy and baby! Kids liked the maze area a lot!
Really great playground all year round! There are two playgrounds, each separately fenced in and just one entrance/exit so that it’s easier to keep track of little ones. The equipment provides lots of entertainment, plus there is ample room to run around. Lots of swings, including adaptive swings and “mommy and me” swings where an adult can swing with babies/toddlers. In the summer, the splash pad between the two playgrounds is a huge hit and lots of fun! This area is NOT fenced in. There are some tables to eat at and benches, some of which are in the shade. Speaking of shade, there is very little and NONE of the play equipment or splash pad is shaded. As a result, the slides and swings get way too hot to play on and therefore the playgrounds are totally empty and the splash pad is packed. Honestly, though, the water is so fun that not many kids want to do anything else anyway. Bring sunscreen and plan on lots of fun! Note: shoes are required at the splash pad. One last thing: it’s like planes, trains and automobiles at this park - you see planes taking off and landing, trains going by, and cars and trucks on the street (and right now with all the construction there are plenty of trucks). My little boy loves the park for this, so if your kid is like mine be sure to check it out!
Great park! Lots of space for kiddos to run around as well as a well-maintained playground. There are 2 playgrounds next to each other . Different size by with similar setups. I’ve been here in the fall but I can see how this could be uncomfortable in the summer Since it lacks shade. Overall definitely recommended and will most likely visit again.
This park is amazing for kids! Lots of things to do and they even have waterworks for the kids to cool off in over the summer. Definitely recommend!
This play/exercise/biking path is a pleasant, well kept area. Very close to new Potomac train stop & Potomac shopping area. Also, with in walking distance of new home for Institute for Blind and annex classes for Virginia Tech.
if you are a mother go to this place it is wonderful 2 play areas and a water splash area which is available in the summer
My kids had so much fun this summer at this place, they were enjoyed by the water fountain. The only thing is hard to find a free street parking spot near the park.

Been here plenty of times! Itâs great if you want to see ducks, turtles, etc. The park is so beautiful and itâs a good way to explore nature! I usually come here with my family during the summer when we do our early morning walks.
I really liked this park. It's very nice and relaxing place. Many people playing volleyball. Others jogging with their pets. Sometimes parkour people is around too. Take your time in this place, is very comfortable.

Even on an overcast day this was a beautiful area. Wonderful walking paths with plentiful benches to take a break or just soak in the beauty. This is truly a gem in the city. Highly recommended if in the area and have some time to relax.
This park is super close from where I leave. I go there for walks almost everyday. It's well managed and clean. The walking trail has got trees on either side which is great during summer heat. If you are lucky enough, you might even see deer grazing

We attended the pop-up art festival today, there were so many talented artists on display, the art work, jewelry vendors along with the leather vendors, food etc... Were a welcome surprise! We purchased some icecream pottery bowls from the Art Leagu
I only went to the playground. Which was nice to be a small neighborhood park. Everything was clean and well well kept. There is not a lot of shade at the actual playground area. I have a toddler who is 3 and everything was so hot she couldn't enjoy
We love putting in our kayaks here and enjoying the river. Wish you had a proper launch however. Parking is easy. This gem of a park has a lot to offer. Explore the trails by foot or by bike.
