Can’t say enough about the Belly. I love this dive. Take my “kids” here all the time. Pool and cheap beer. Friendly people. Can I say more. Oh, I would say the bathroom could be a lot cleaner feeling. But….
I don't go to Pot Belly enough. Sandwiches are always good. The Wrek is my favorite. Soups are always good. The Potato is my go-to.
This one is comfy and a pleasant place to have some grub and chill.
This is a great local watering hole, with a friendly staff and local patrons. It's kind of hard to see it as your driving by, and people always get it confused with the Potbelly's chain of sandwiches. They always have lots of drink specials and their prices seem a lot more reasonable than the rest of the local bars in the neighborhood. As for bar games, they have slot machines and a pool table. They don't have a kitchen, but they still have some bar snacks, including some frozen pizzas. You can bring food from other stablishments and eat it here. Parking is very limited in back, but you can also park on the street.
The assistant manager Alexis needs to find a new job that dosent involve speaking to customers. Most ignorant person I have ever met.
I attended this restaurant in Chicago today March 5th . It is on State and Lake. I got their delicious Mediterranean Sandwich before going to work. Spent 45 minutes. In those 45 minutes I HAD TO WIPE THE TABLE AND SEAT. WHILE THERE, I DIDN'T SEE ANYBODY WIPE TABLES AND GREASE CHAIRS. In a city were we have lots of Visitors, I believe it is a bad reputation.
The cheese pizza and drinks were great.
I ordered a bowl of baked potatoe soup and it had nothing in it also ordered a chocolate shake and it had no chocolate the manager Brett told me he cant add more chocolate and was not going to credit me I had to buy another shake if I want more chocolate ! Rude customer service buyer beware !!! Management has no people he needs a job in a factory on a room by himself !!
Love this place. Great neighborhood feel. Wonderful bartenders. They have a pool table too. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I wish they had some food other than pizza and bags of cashews would be good for us who are low carb. Too much to ask? Actually they are 5 stars without it. Great prices too.
