Spacious clean rooms. There is a kitchen area and bedroom is separate from living space. Nice balcony with furniture, so on nice day you can enjoy coffee on deck. The only drawback is the view. You can see the ocean but most of what you see is a dirt lot. |We had great time, able to walk to beach, restaurants and we even walked downtown. The staff were all very nice and room was quiet. Beds are a little on the firm side.

Spur of the moment overnight stay to visit family in Brookings. The reviews of all of the other hotels in town weren’t great so we called Portside Suites and they had a room. Amber was very attentive and accommodating. We shut the door with both room keys inside and somehow messed up the cable remote. She came both times without hesitation and was sweet about helping us. The room is more like a one bedroom apartment, clean and welcoming. Everything you would need for an overnight or an extended stay. Will stay there again and recommend to anyone.

The suite was huge, clean, quiet with a view of the marina and ocean.|Staff was friendly and helpful. The shower was large and good water pressure. Bed was medium firm and comfortable. Great location to marina, shops and restaurants.|We’ll be back!

Wonderful place, suites are exceptionally clean and well maintained, 2 person in room spa fit 2 adults easily, furniture is solid and not worn out or beat up, bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was very helpful with my request for early check in they even called me once housekeeping was done making up my room. Booked 1 night but enjoyed it so much...stayed 2. I highly recommend Portside Suites when you visit Brookings/ Harbor.

Booked this room for our fishing trip. Located near Brookings Harbor which is very convenient for fishing. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. Main bed was comfortable but sofa bed not so much for our adult friend. The back patio is a nice touch. Would prefer it to be more private and concealed since the view isn’t the best anyway. Bar was nice touch with a full sink, cupboards, mini fridge, microwave toaster, real coffee mugs and wine glasses. Was a bit confused that there no dish soap, paper towels or utensils which normally accompany this type of room. The sink and counter area in the bedroom was convenient overall very good experience and I’m sure we’ll be back

We stayed for two nights in summer, when it was fully booked. The room was a clean, spacious suite with a Jacuzzi tub. The motel was quiet and had good beds. We received daily room service despite COVID. There was a small balcony with a table and two chairs, which would be nice if it were warm enough. (This is the Oregon coast, it's often cool.) ||||The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived close to when the front office closed and they had called us earlier to make sure we would get there before they were gone. The office staff had helpful dining recommendations. ||||The hotel isn't really "port side" - they're two blocks away and the view you have is of industrial lots. The port is a working port, which is interesting. There is a small beach about a half mile (10-15 minute walk) away. The better beaches along the coast are further north and south. It's conveniently located for trips to the redwoods.

Very clean spacious rooms. The kitchenette was clean and everything was in good condition. It was surprisingly quiet.|Very good Mexican restaurant next door. The view on the bottom floor was ok and you could hear the dingy and ocean at night.|The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful.|The balcony was larger than others I’ve experienced in Brookings and the balcony furniture was sturdy and well kept.|Bathroom was nice and the tub was nice for soaking.|We were impressed with the size of both the living area and the very separate and private bedroom.|This is going to be our new go to place when we make our jaunts to the coast to see our kids.

We stay here every time we head to Brookings to see family. Nice size rooms. Good beds. Microwave and refrigerator in each room. No elevator to the second floor so we always stay on the ground floor. We like it. Restaurant co-located is good too!
