Nice clean airport. Has big clean restrooms and nice waiting areas. Great selection for food and snack as well as several places to redeem your priority pass
It's most definitely an airport. It is currently under construction, so some of the food options are not available right now. But there are still plenty of places to choose from. For the size of Portland, the PDX airport is rather large and easy to get in and out of. During the day, you can find a local musician playing some tunes. They also have filtered water fountains to refill your bottle (ya know, because airport water bottles are like $15).
Good Coffee in B terminal is phenomenal. The b terminal in general is great, awesome spacious clean bathrooms downstairs as well as plenty of seats to work or rest while you wait for your flights
PDX - Portland International Airport PDX is one of the nicest airports to get around in. Distances are tolerable. Terrazzo floors and carpet. The facility is clean and well lit. Plenty of parking, Handicap Accessibility. Plenty of food and shopping spots. I do suggest having TSA pre-check as the lines can get long.
The Portland airport was pretty good. They seem to check the planes pretty thoroughly. My flight was delayed because they wanted to change two tires on the plane. I thought that was smart to do if it needs it. I liked how fast getting through security seemed to go. It seemed pretty organized. The airport was a good experience for sure. No complaints at all.
Taking off one star because it lacks a direct route to Asia (I'm hoping routes to Japan will resume and a route to India to get added because there's a huge population here too). If flying to Asia, most people do the well known travel hack of making a trip to Seattle first (eg. drive, amtrak) or LA first since it's sometimes far worth your time and cheaper to make a separate trip and enjoy your time there than adding a flight stop over in those cities. The rest of my stars are for the cleanliness, ease of access, the artwork, the multiple vegetarian food options, and occasional alpacas and piano players that come in here
Portland international Airport is easy to navigate through and if you arrive early you will be a service to yourself. I don't like the weird paintings in there.. kinda creepy and hidden messages like illuminate vibe.
Loved this airport! Simple and easy to go around. Loved the shuttle services and how it was clearly labeled. Made it easy to know exactly where to go!
