As always, Portillos does disappoint when it comes to food. Italian beef sandwich was served and it was goooood. Elmhurst location is pretty big and it can get crowded really fast. Shopping center is down the road from it.
Constantly have problems with this location. How they have a 4.5 rating is beyond me. Today was the last time I will go here, I felt rushed when ordering, but then I sat in the drive thru for almost 20 mins. They kept giving the cars behind me their orders before mine (combo/hamburge/ 2 cheese fries/LG coke) When I finally got my order the kid never added my cokes, when I said something the kid at the window was telling me I'd have to pay for them since he didn't put them on my order, didn't feel like waiting another 10 mins so I went home. Get home and the food is OK, beef wasn't piping hot, fries were hot, burger was over cooked and dry, The cheese sauce has some sort of foreign plastic object in it, immediately lost my appetite and so did my son, extremely disgusting and will be calling the store and district manager tomorrow
Three of us were there Monday 1-29-24, appx. 7:45 pm. Order 1 Hot Dog everything, 1 Cheeseburger everything, 1 Hamburger No Lettuce No Tomato. 1 Large Cheese Fries 1 Onion Ring, 2 Reg colas 1 diet cola. Waited 10 minutes for our order, inside there were only 7 other customers eating, no one else in line. Plenty of workers behind the counter, visiting & goofing off with each other while we waited & got COLD BURGERS FRIES & OVERCOOKED COLD ONION RINGS. NO we did not complain because there didn’t seem to be one person in charge. On the way out ordered a large shake to go again waited & waited had to go ask for no one had taken care of the shake. Finally did no apology. No place was there a name or number to contact regarding the quality or food & staff. We have been going to that location for more than 20 years & the service & quality of the soon has gone way down. We will not be going there again, if we want Portillo’s we will try Addison, or Park Ridge.
We love Portillos food and atmosphere! This location was along our journey so we stopped. New for us. Great staff, attentive manager.
Polish sausage was so good. Just the quintessential kind of food you want from an institution like Portillo’s. Excellent service as well.
I went for take out. I had the Cod fish sandwich of which I order all the time. But, once I got my food home I was disappointed this time. The fish was hard as burnt. I was tired and so I did not return to the location. I guess they can't get it right every time. Oh well. I will know the next time to look at the food before I drive off.
We went after dark to grab a Chicago style hot dog and Polish for someone who was visiting from Europe for the first time. The food was really good and the fries tasted really clean. The service was under par for sure. We went through the drive-thru and they were having a good time inside and it was almost like we were an afterthought sitting out in the driveway. But anyway the food still tasted good when we got it back to the hotel.
This is my go to Portillo’s, right down the street from my house, always good service and food, but I will never order catering again. I can’t believe someone boxed this up and gave it to me. It was completely burnt around the edges, noodles hard and black. Ordered for a graduation party and the taste and presentation was horrible. Only the middle was edible. Never again.
Have not been to the gum in years! Joined Flexx Elmhurst 4 months ago. Brandon always makes it fun! Fantastic trainer and really motivates you to always push yourself. Leave every workout feeling great and accomplished! ðª
Whoa - now that was a good drink. This morning I ordered the 'Stroopwafel' because, frankly, the description looked cool. When I did, the guy seated at the table behind me said "It's delicious!" and in fact he had just ordered the same thing a few mi
Wow ð³, the attention to detail is amazing. They have HO, narrow gauge HO and N scales. The layout extends to 3 large rooms. The members are very friendly and take the time to show and explain how everything works.
First time here!! Megan and Stephanie were welcoming!! Store is clean and great vibe coming in. Informative on CBD when I asked some questions. Will be coming back because of them.
Awesome place I didnât even realize existed. Just a 3 minute walk from Phase 3. You can buy individual things to go, or drink things from the cooler, or enjoy something on draft. Thereâs a food menu but I didnât look at it. Definitely coming ba
I attended the holiday artisan fair and was impressed both with the beauty of the building, and the quality of the artisans work. The landscaping was gorgeous as well. Greeting guests outdoors at the entryway was a vendor of coffee. Wish I had taste
What a wonderful coffee shop! It's pretty big inside, with lots of working space available and tons of windows/light. They have an array of whole bean coffee for sale, including a CBD one, which looked interesting. I ended up getting the Illusionist
Tucked away on the corner of Schiller Court Walkway near the parking garage, this family owned and operated restaurant is a real gem. You walk down a few stairs to the casual environment. Specials are listed along with their regular menu items. They
Went here with a "friend." I asked for the fancy leaf latte for the pictures and the young gentleman did it right ð! Good latte too. The warmed up goat cheese pastry was tasty. Super friendly service. They did what they could for seating with t
