Good views and parking spaces are available. Since it’s nest to the Oakland port, it’s probably very interesting for the kids.
Really interesting views, beautiful view of San Francisco at sunset. Not the usual tourist angle. Awesome to see how the ships are loaded and unloaded onto trains and trucks.
On a lazy Sunday morning, it can be a real good place to sit down and just have some alone time. Not the best sights nor it is quiet, it's next to the Port Of Oakland after all, it does offer that unique solitude.
Not worth the walk and restrooms are ridiculously far from parking. Didn't catch anything worth taking home. Nice sitting area at the fishing dock and its nice they have a a big sink with two faucets
Excellent views of SF and the Bay Bridge and the port, with a small playground containing the excavating play equipment my kids love.
Did not realize until recently that fishing off the pier does not require a license. We didn't catch anything, but the views still made it worthwhile.
A very nice little park by the sea. You can see ships coming in and leaving and sometimes being unloaded. The observation building is open 10-3 Monday through Friday.
There's a pier for fishing. There are places to sit and tables for eating and relaxing
It has good bay views. And it has bathrooms
Great views of the Bay Bridge and San Francisco. Popular fishing pier. Clean restrooms and fish cleaning stations. Nothing close for getting food or drink.
Really like this trail as it offers many sub route to take, based on the length we wanna go. There's a viewpoint where we can see the city. The trail is beautiful and very green. Not a lot of parking but not too bad. No round way back though, have to
What an exciting and wonderful place to go on a Sunday afternoon. There's dancing, great music, roller skating, people watching, you're near the Marina and Jack London Square, it's a place to rent equipment for water sports, and an excellent place f
A frequent stop of mine. Dog area on the hill, clean water fountain and comfortable benches. I have meditated at this peaceful place on Lake Merritt. The side walk toward Grand Ave along the lake's edge has picturesque Oakland background. The path of
Nice little park that had a little bit of everything. Slides, play structures, a spinning thing the kids can get on and be twirled all around, swings, sand play area, basketball area, lots of grass, and a beautiful scenic trail that leads to the DMV.
I always pass this area when I'm driving on the freeway, and as silly as it may seem, I've always wanted to walk across the bridge over the freeway! So one day when I had free time, I did! & I'm glad I went exploring because I came across this cute l
Lovely large and inviting space. Seems just for the neighborhood folk and park affecionado. Zooming down Shattuck, you might miss bushrod park. Get out of your car or just park your bike. Stretch out and relax at another beautiful space!
I have walked my dogs in the past. A very peaceful and serene place. I enjoy the fresh air. Most people with their dogs are on the leash. They are responsible for their dogs. I haven't been their in a while. So hopefully nothing has changed.
Cozy, unpretentious yoga studio for people of all ages and abilities. I've only gone to this location one time so far but the instructor was great. Lots of natural light and a nice waiting area with clean restrooms and water available. Highly recomme
Love to support small business inspired by family and culture and led by strong women! Highly recommend the latiya latte and champorado mocha (as well as their chicken empanada) ð we had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with co-owner Ari and l
I just had the most amazing meal at Casa Borinquena, and I can't wait to share my experience! The potato balls were seriously tasty, especially with that sauce they came with. And let's talk about the chicken skewer â it was packed with flavor and
