Very nice family-owned motel. Clean room. Friendly, competent staff. Walking distance to many of the Port Townsend activities. We would have stayed longer, but they were completely booked (we didn’t have a reservation), which says something about their popularity.
This is a great value , classic motel convenient to everything in Port Townsend. Nothing fancy but our room was newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Close to downtown waterfront district. We were in town for the Jazz festival and it was an easy 5 minute drive to Fort Warden.
Room was clean and comfortable. Location was good. Have to mention the young man, Landon, who checked us in. He was kind, friendly and professional. We were hoping to ride the ferry the next morning, but had no idea how to go about it. He was so patient and kind, offering his help while explaining the process. He made our experience with the Port Townsend Inn special.
The room was good except for the bar inside the door. The floor had a dent and I guess this was for safety. Great to hang clothes on but I thought it was in the way. Comfy sheets and bed. Odd shower. non functioning bathroom fan. Needed 2 bedside tables. Terrible lighting (but that is typical hotel lights). NO POOL as advertised and had to pay a booking fee so check your phone numbers when you call, don't use 1844! All in all a good stay!
Basic room. Clean Phoned 20 minutes after departure to say we left our phone chargers in the room only to be informed not there. Yet after we searched luggage and car. Called again to say it must be in the room as we don’t have, still can’t find the chargers. It’s truly a mystery on how they simply disappeared!
The room was as advertised. Upon check out I was sure to leave a tip for housekeeping but I didn't intend to leave my black and pink kimono style dressing gown on the bed. I called about it as soon as I got home but according to the desk person, Crystal, no one found it. I find that odd. I hesitate to call anyone a thief but when something disappears like that, it seems fitting. So I suggest you triple check the room before you leave or your items might disappeare into thin air. Last time we will stay there.
The heater takes a long time to kick in-the room was icy. Hint-turn it up to turbo.|There is a reading lamp on one side of the bed, so find an alternative or bring your own light. The view is magnificent, the bed is good...the shower is small but probably functional. The room is clean but shows wear. |The location is relatively far from the nearest restaurant, but the room does have a coffee maker and coffee (bring your own tea).|
Rooms were fine. Price was competitive. Service and accommodation could have been better given that we had to leave a day earlier than anticipated but was still charged for an extra day. If 3 stars is average then 2 Stars is appropriate given their below average policies in comparison to their competitors.
Loved staying in this old building! So interesting and unique. The room felt enormous with it's crazy high ceilings. Perfect location. I know it's a historic building, but the rooms do feel like they could use an extra touch of historically accurate
We LOVE Marina Cafe! They have lunch everyday that comes with a salad, chips, cookie and soda and whatever hot sandwich/wrap is made for the day. On Thursday through Saturday evenings, they now have tapas, beer, cider and wine and it is the best thin
I went here for my first time today. It was amazing! I had absolutely no idea this museum and restoration shop was even here. This place helps kids get in to aviation too. I loved it. If I didn't live so dang far, I would definitely volunteer as an A
Wonderful park with great play areas and beautiful quiet areas to contemplate the universe. Be sure to check out the bench swing and many secret gardens
Our favorite restaurant in Port Townsend! So good we went 2 nights in a row during our trip. We came back for their amazing pasta and ice cream! The seasonal ice cream was apple pie and itâs the best! Their devil eggs and scallops are our favorites
My wife and I drove up from Poulsbo for the day to be tourists. We asked a local merchant for a recommendation. He gave us 3 choices and we chose the Fountain Cafe. Itâs a block from the main road but worth the walk.
Wow. The food was fantast
