Port Royal Ocean Resort & Conference Center - Resort hotel in Port Aransas - 6317 TX-361, USA

Our room was perfect in that it was located on the 1st floor, right by the pool and boardwalk entrances. The pool was amazing. The pool area is a little run down. The facility as a while is run down. Though they are still recovering from the hurricane, I feel the condo owners themselves should be fixing up their condos at least. For the amount we paid, I was expecting functional and updated appliances. Perhaps other condos maybe better, but this needs some work. Thank you

It’s been very hard work but each day brings a new chapter in the life of Port Royal. We love it. The pool is the most beautiful we have ever seen. The IS NOTHING LIKE IT!!! The condos are individually owned and decorated, and the owners have spent much time taking care of their holiday homes. The staff is amazing. The short walk to the beach via the boardwalk, gives you a chance to say hello to your fellow travelers There is a small restaurant on site. And a food truck by the pool for great quick bites. Never having to leave the area is a big bonus.

Port Royal report (in case anyone is wondering):||Port Royal was severely damaged by Hurricane Harvey. I found out that the insurance from Harvey has -just now- come through. They will begin renovations this winter.||Room we were in was great! Full frontal balcony. 3 bdrm 2 bath -3 double sink areas- washer dryer, 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twins, 1 roll-away bed. It is probably pre-renovation price.. but for a last minute getaway right now its great! There was hardly anybody there, 3 pools 3 hot tubs, two giant slides, great kids areas, boardwalk to beach- Port Royal has it. The restaurant is meh, however breakfast delivered to the room is a nice treat.

Super friendly staff, very accommodating. The room was huge, but smelled kind of funky. Sounds like they are remodeling the place, it definitely needs some upgrading. But overall, we had a great stay. The pool is incredible and ocean access is very convenient.

We stayed in unit 6323 after a friend recommended it. It had a great view of the pool and the ocean, and it blew our expectations. Being on the top floor, it was quiet and relaxing. The pool is so big with so many sections that it is great for everyone from young children to adults looking to relax. Also, the beach is just a couple-minute walk away.

Even after some bad reviews, rain/thunderstorm chance, we still decide to get this resort a chance and we are GLAD WE DID!! Our room was amazing, the pool was even better and the whole staff was very accommodating!! Nothing but smiling faces. The food truck and restaurant both had delicious meals! The only bad thing was only a few elevators worked (we were on the third floor) but other than that it was a great time. We will be making this an annual trip!!

water damage throughout the condo 5303. Presence of bugs in the rooms. Outdated bathrooms and floors. Doors would not open without extreme force. No internet connection throughout the condo. I am hopeful that this will be addressed. We have always enjoyed our stays at Port Royal, however this was extremely disappointing considering how hard i worked to pay for this trip. 5303 needs work. Would not recommend this room to others.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and thought it was great. Condos were clean, stocked, comfortable, and decorated very nicely. Pools were beautiful, with lots of depth options, a fountain, some slides and volley ball nets. There’s even a swim up bar. Food was good snd staff was very friendly. We had no issues that I’ve seen others report. There was one bug on the stairs, but that’s outside and common anywhere. This place is doing a wonderful job recovering from the hurricane and was a great vacation.
