You can catch crabs on the trestle bridge. The beach is very big and the sand is very fine. The water is clear and the waves are big. It’s a really nice beach. We bought a local spider crab for $20. It’s delicious 😋

I love this beach. Very clean sand, not so crowded, calming. It has pier, a restaurant with a good ocean view, plenty of semi private picnic benches, volley ball court.. etc. The restrooms are very clean. Perfect location for all ages.

Beautiful , wonderful and quiet beach. Not many people. You can find parking easily free or pay. I saw many people fishing on the Pier .

Growing up beachside here in Oxnard, Hueneme Beach was always my favorite place to get some sun and surf. Oxnard boasts some of the best beaches this side of Malibu and Santa Monica. They have sectioned off picnic benches for privacy and helps with breezy days. The beach is expansive and has a pier that has great fishing. I’ve seen pulled from this pier crab, rock fish, Mackerel, all sorts of seafood delights. The waters here are clean and deep so the fishing is good! Off in the distance are the Channel Islands that can been be seen clearly when the marine layer isn’t present. There’s a beach side cafe with all sorts of sea food and the food is pretty tasty. There’s walking trails and a jetty where you can deep sea fish so it has everything for everyone. Swings and playground for kids shady palm trees and grassy areas where you can sit with a good book and catch some tan. If you find yourself in the 805 stop by Hueneme Beach, you won’t be disappointed.

Had been a long time since we have been here. Was a bit surprised with the prices, but everything is expensive these days, was worth the cost. Sandwiches were delicious, fries were so yummy, dipped in fresh ranch dressing.
