Porch Public House - Gastropub in Hayden - 1658 E Miles Ave, USA

The sprouts were fresh and in my opinion perfectly cooked. The only thing that could have made this better was a little more balsamic as it was hard to taste with the other ingredients. We also enjoyed an order of wild mushroom ravioli. The sauce was great and it was just the right sized portion. The service really was the shining star here! My diet Coke was refilled before I even realized I had drank it far enough down to need a refill. They kept us supplied with plenty of water and frequently but not irritatingly visited the table to see if there was anything that they could help us with.

We Arrived on Wednesday evening at 4:40. Waitress arrived at our table at 4:42 and was very nice. Only waited 2 minutes and she took our drink order. We ordered 1 French dip meal and 1 Swimming Angel meal. Food arrived very quickly, food was hot and portion large. We enjoyed our dinner and we're out in less then an hour. I don't understand why so many negative comments on reviews. Don't believe all the complainers!

A Warm and Friendly Pub Experience I recently visited The Porch and had an overall delightful experience. The ambiance of the pub is cozy and inviting, with warmly lit cabin-style decor and classic pub furniture that sets a comfortable tone for a casual evening out. Our waitress was a highlight of the evening, always on her toes with a great sense of humor. Her friendly demeanor added to the welcoming atmosphere, making our visit enjoyable from the start. We ordered the classic Rueben sandwich with salt and vinegar chips. The sandwich was flavorful, but my only gripe was that the bread wasn't toasted, leading to some sogginess. The tip here is to savor it quickly! My girlfriend opted for the cranberry salad, a delightful blend of ingredients that she described as amazing. I can vouch for its goodness, as I happily finished what she couldn't. We also tried the regular potato chips, which, despite unanimous agreement at our table that they were a bit too salty, somehow disappeared quickly. While the food we sampled was good, it didn't quite reach spectacular heights, especially considering the price, which felt a tad high for the overall quality. However, I believe The Porch deserves another try. The friendly service and cozy ambiance make it a place worth revisiting, and I encourage others to give it a shot!

I love this place! It is casual and a solid local spot. The food is tasty and consistent. Service has always been friendly. I’m comfortable bringing my daughter (under 1) there because it isn’t somewhere you have to worry about being really quiet and there are often other kiddos. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered, but I am especially fond of their pasta salad, burger, and wraps. We love the pasta salad so much we stop by just to get some to go! Now my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Good food, beautiful area. I had their Pasta Special of the day - it was a great vegetarian option! It was a certainly unique dish with onions, basil, feta, white wine, and more that made the pasta taste unlike anything I'd had or seen before. Heavy handed on the onions, but overall a good unique dish. My friends got the trout and loved it as well. Iced tea price was $2 which was pleasant since most places surcharge to a ridiculous $3 or $4. Would definitely return upon a subsequent visit.

Our new go to when in Hayden. Super friendly staff. The food was diverse ranging from traditional burgers to Korean Bulgogi tacos. Everything was flavorful and delicious.

Great cozy, casual atmosphere, friendly staff. I've only been here once so I can just say my Rueben Sandwich with Kale & Brussels Sprout Salad was really tasty and satisfying. Went again another time, took a good friend to recently to treat her for her Birthday 🎉 It was perfect! Burgers 🍔 were so good, restaurant was crowded but we found a table with no wait, service was great and they even brought a Birthday Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae to my friend on their own! My friend had not been there before but she was delighted.Thank you Porch 😁👍🏻
