Originally, I was going to leave a bad review here, but by the time I got through the drive through line my opinion was entirely changed. You can’t go in to buy donuts, it is drive-through only. Be prepared to wait a bit. When I finally got to the window I was immediately told we don’t have an assortment. I was still able to get a dozen of puffs, longjohns, and some other random donuts (which in my opinion meets the criteria of an assortment). Because of the wait and “limited” options they threw in several free donuts and a free large coffee. Even though I was very happy with what they ended up having they were very apologetic and the customer service was top-notch. Best of all, the donuts were absolutely amazing. Some of the best I’ve had in the entire state. I probably wouldn’t recommend going here if you’re in a rush and have a very specific donut that you want in mind, but if you’re open to variety and willing to wait a bit this place is perfect. I would definitely go again.

I’ve never had a bad experience inside poppy’s but the fact that it’s drive through only anymore really deters me from going back. I’d much rather see what available, spend less time and keep the line going. I’ve waited in line for way to long for only a couple cars. It takes more time than it’s worth to me. I can’t leave on break or swing by before work anymore to get donuts. If it’s not worth the time to buy a couple dozen, it’s definitely not worth it for just a single donut. Open the inside back up and it’s easily 4-5 stars

I would give this place zero stars if it was possible. Let's start with prices.. I paid around 37 $ for a dozen and half donuts that in my honest opinion was not worth 10 dollars. Let's first talk about the blueberry donut I asked for. The guy working asked if I wanted icing or glaze on it. I thought they must have 2 kinds so I asked for glaze.. the guy dipped it in glaze and threw it in the box. GROSS!! Most people know you glaze the donuts as they come out of the oven then put them back in the oven for 30 seconds or so. Also All the other donuts I got had baked on Glaze PLUS icing.. talk about over kill on sugar. One of the donuts was suppose to be lemon filled however there was no lemon. I tried to call Poppys to get this resolved but 5 hours later there was still a busy signal.. pretty sure they have no phone connection. The building inside was disgusting.. I should have known better.. standing water on the floor powder sugar all over the place dirty donut cases.. nothing inside was sanitary.. SHAME ON YOU POPPYS! I will take my business to Wabash Donuts because it's clear you have gave up on yours.. below is the dipped blueberry saturated with raw glaze... :(

Inside is closed and we sat in the drive through window waiting for 10 minutes while they just looked at us and then ignored us. The place is extremely sketchy and I guess according to the douche in the gold chain not worth getting order from customers. Really wanted some doughnuts too since Indiana tends to have the fake batter 'donuts' I was really hoping to try and find an actually doughnut place.

Sooooo disappointing! This place was once so good. Unfortunately it is just not the same anymore. The quality has gone wayyyy downhill and the prices have gone wayyyy up. It's sad that the place that once made the best donuts now makes the worst donuts. Fresh donuts don't crunch when you bite into them. I wish it was how it used to be....

Skimpy hard and over cooked. Worst doughnuts around!

Donuts are made differently by different employees. You never know what you'll get. Sometimes they're great, other times they're burnt, have barely any icing or way too many sprinkles, so hard you can't bite into them, or they just don't make donuts that day. Not the most dependable place for donuts.

They can make about anything you like but when I ordered peanut butter icing I didn't expect it to literally be just plain peanut butter
