Just a fantastic place to take a look at the city and the valley. Plenty of parking and there is a water fill station. If you come during sunset its like an extra treat. Toy can take several little trails of varying elevation change and you can also take a 20min walk to the block U. There was a relatively clean porta potty there. 100% recommend.
We wanted a place to wait out my husband's outpatient procedure, so we went looking for this very tucked away park and well, not a whole lot to do ultimately, especially since the slide was metal 😬 and already blistering hot at 10am on a July morning, no surprise. It was very pock marked as well, like people probably beat on it for fun. To get from the car to the park was such an ordeal with two littles that by the time we got there my husband said he was ready to be picked up 😅 so we mostly trekked in and out, but it wasn't much to hold my littles' attention anyway. However, there are two saddle swings, so that's good for a bit older kids. The pluses are plenty of runaround space, a bench, a heavy picnic table that didn't seem anchored down so could be adjusted if needed, some mature trees, and it's tucked back from anything busy. A bike path runs east to west at the south, where parking is. Near the glass recycling dumpster there's a neat bike repair station I noticed. Seemed a little wild and because it's isolated maybe draws some mischief makers, but it was at least clean and nothing overgrown and has a great view.
Gorgeous views and open space for biking, walking and to take small kids. There is a little playground and flat area to kick a ball around. Parking is also good.
Popperton Park is a nice place. Many people park here and ride mountain bikes or hike/run up the road to dry gulch and up it to the Bonneville Shoreline trail. (Photos are of the Bonneville Shoreline trail)
Pretty views but kind of a boring place not many things to do but wide open fields a little playground for the kids pet friendly
For a mostly green loop it's pretty decent. It's fun, flowy and just a good place to learn. The climb is pretty easy too. Would definitely recommend. 3 outta 5 stars

Amazing off leash dog park, people and pups are all very friendly. Highly recommend. There are two fun water areas and plenty of shade throughout most of the trail.
Gorgeous hike. Highly recommend if you donât have a car, catch an Uber or ride share first because the hike is steep! Wear good shoes. The view is phenomenal and so worth while. The late afternoon is the best time as when the sun sets, the city ju
Beautiful spot to oversee Emigration canyon from up top. The trail is not too difficult with steady elevation gain. Would recommend you bring buffer water in the summer if you plan to go all the way up as there arenât much shades!
I have been coming here since I was a kid. This was always my favorite park, and now, having kids of my own, I'm able to let them experience the same joy this place brought to me when I was young. There is so much to do and endless places to explore.
I got to see the moose with her twins, only a few days before they were unfortunately caught in water and trapped. The cow was able to be rescued and relocated, but her twins were not. These may be some of the last photos of them.
Wide dirt/gravel path- good for strollers and wagons with hardy wheels. Dogs okay on leash. When there's water this is a great walk for distracting littles. There are little "secret" paths down to the water and you can watch the squirrels, the birds
Beautiful park with lots to do. There's a playground, rides, pool, tennis courts, and lots of areas to walk around. There a free small museum exhibit and a paid aviary. The aviary is well worth the $12, tons of birds on exhibit great for kids and adu
Its a lovely place to play a number of games and one of very parks around SLC Valley where Asian cricket pitches are installed. Additionally, It has a playing area for kids, and soft baseball pitch. Negative point = soccer ground has a lot of pits.
I absolutely love Shred415!! I swam competitively, have run marathons and mountain bike regularly, but Shred415 was the game changer for me. I signed up for a membership soon after having my first kid, and can honestly say it put me in the best shape
