Our dining experience at Popolari for lunch was nothing short of amazing. Both the food and service exceeded our expectations. The highlight of our visit was the owner, who not only served as our waiter but also ensured that every aspect of our meal was perfect. His friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our experience.
The food at Popolari is noteworthy for its freshness and incredible taste. Every dish we tried was a testament to the quality and care put into their preparation. I wholeheartedly recommend Popolari for either lunch or dinner. It’s a place where the excellence of the food is matched by the warmth and attentiveness of the service.
Great local Italian restaurant with good menu size and tasty dishes. Right after placing the order we have received three bruschettas as compliment. Only wine is available from their bar menu, but the waiter has suggested that they have BYOB policy, so I have brought couple of beers from the next door liquor store. Overall great experience. Would definitely recommend for any occasions, make reservations in advance if you want to get seated for Friday-Sunday dinners.
The Ambiance is nice almost gives Italy vibes so it’s cute for a date but it’s a small restaurant so expect to be close to the table next to you! Went on a Friday the place was busy but the food is what disappointed me the most. Ordered meatballs and garlic knots for appetizers meatballs were very COLD and garlic knots were definitely not fresh. Carbonara pasta was watery not sure how, the flavor was good but the overall plate wasn’t good. Popolari pizza was another disappointment with the overall flavor and the prosciutto very Dry. I had high hopes for this place but honest opinion it was a disappointment. Wouldn’t recommend!
Enjoyed quite a delicious lunch here with my husband. We ordered our pizza just the way we did in ITALIA! Quattro formagi, grilled melanzane, prosciutto, Italian sausage, topped with spinach & arugula! Our fried calamari was perfectly cooked and lightly breaded! Their homemade huge meatball was also very delicious! The ambiance and art inside and out was also beautiful.
Amazing restaurant with a very full and varied menu - something for everyone! Plenty of vegetarian options too. Beautiful atmosphere with an artist’s touch. Service was amazing - greeted by the chef and owner! Victor was an incredible waiter. A MUST GO! Will be back for all the great items on the menu we were too full to try.
After reading many pleasant reviews for Popolari, I chose to try it out for an anniversary dinner. Even though this restaurant offers Due Fratelli wine selections from California, I brought my own bottle of chianti for dinner. We started with fried calamari and Caesar salad. The salad was large enough for two people. Both appetizers were delicious. For our main entrees we had Fettuccine Carbonara with an added huge meatball on top and the Mafaldine E Fungi Truffle (homemade ribbon pasta sautéed mixed shrooms with porcini crème sauce) grilled shrimp was added to this entrée. Both dishes were excellent. We were there on a Friday night and it was loud and a little hectic. It's probably quieter during the week. Our waiter Victor was professional and friendly. Looking forward to another visit there…There is a free parking lot behind the restaurant.
This is a cozy place with great pasta 👍 the pasta bolognese was fantastic. I also enjoyed the cauliflower and burata salads 🥗 the affogato is a great dessert option
Sunday night, the place was packed! They were able to seat us quickly and the food didn’t take long at all. Their kitchen was efficient and the service was excellent - they have really hit their stride. We got the pizza with shrimp, the margarita pizza, and eggplant parm with spaghetti. Also a hibiscus tea and Caesar salad. Everything was great. Salad was perfect. Pizza dough was so good and chewy. Could have been a little thinner. On first taste the tomato sauce in the pizza 🍕 felt a little too sweet. Would have been better with less edge and more room for sauce and cheese. Eggplant parm was great, eggplant was thin, not too greasy. That tomato sauce also tasted a little unbalanced needed more seasoning. Hibiscus tea was good but lacked tartness and a little too cinnamon-y for me. A fun experience overall. One thing that surprised me was the prices are really high. But it could be a fun treat -splurge and get comfort food in a lively environment with great music!

This is THE hidden gem of pizza in NJ. An EXTENSIVE menu for everyone. Also, you should throw your preconceived notions about vegan food right into the trash. I'm convinced that their vegan Nona or Nono is better than a
Just finished half of the garlic shrimp wrap. Very, very good.
The wrap was put together nicely and taste so good. You can get full but not stuffed from the wrap. I like that.
This gem is close by and I will definitely be back tomorrow. This was my
I don't live very close to RISE but every time I go to a class, I think of how it's worth the trip. The programming here is excellent and the strength sessions combined with the mobility and accessory movements make for a great workout. I also love
I can't overstate how in love I am with this place. The ladies are lovely and are the embodiment of flowers in human form ⤠the lavender latte sent my soul into orbit and the guava cream cheese cronut brought me back to heaven on earth. I can't wai
Literal perfection, oh my god!! My boyfriend and I had grilled halloumi, a Nutella crepe, the Spanish omelette, semolina cake, and Greek coffee. Everything was out of this world! We sat outside and it was breezy due to the overhead fans they had on. T
Here several times. The Pizza is terrific, the food is very good and the drinks are very good. Love the ambience of the Rabbit Room. Brought friends here, but will be a little bit less because of the ADDED COST of the CREDIT CARD FEE.
