Poplar Wine & Spirits - Liquor Shop in Casper - 1016 S Poplar St # 1, USA

So I am a big Tito’s Vodka person. Always paid 19.99 plus taxes for 750ml, in most places in Casper Wyoming. I swung by Poplar Wine and Spirits, and guess how much they charged 24.10 for the same 750ml. I didn’t realize till I got home because I got something else. Went back to make sure they did not charge me by mistake, the lady at the counter said per Wyoming rules, they can charge whatever. Whoa! NEVER ever going back.

I have found my go to spot! First time going in today and I talked with the owner and to my surprise was able to come up with a bourbon I have been chasing for sometime! Also had great conversation and picked up a private barrel bottle that I am really looking forward to pouring. One of the best experiences I’ve had on my bourbon hunts! I am 50 miles from the store and I will gladly continue to take my business here. Thank you!

Being retired from the specialty Beer, Wine and Spirits business, I can spot a well organized, beautifully stocked liquor store with great inventory selection within 3 seconds of walking in the door...and THIS IS ONE OF THOSE. My husband and I spend a lot of time touring the country in our RV and one of the most difficult things to pull off is restocking our beer/wine/liquor stash while on the road. In my working days I was a Somm and Cicerone so quality juice and bubbles are critical to my survival :) you can find that level of quality here. From a Veuve Demi Sec (yup, you read that right Demi Sec!!!), to a 2015 bomber of the Dissident to a killer bourbon selection...its all here. The staff is most helpful and kind, the wine selection is nice and the store is clean. We have popped in here twice, rolled in and parked the RV out front, needed to use a shopping cart to get it done! If you're as descerning as a Drinker as myself, this is your store. Make the stop to come here, you will not be dissappointed!!! (And for a fun treat, get yourself a freshly poured daquiri sold here as well.) Cheers!

Required me to remove my mask to make a purchase. I don't recommend this place. They do not put the health and safety of their staff and customers first. There are other places in town with better selection and prices. Those places will allow me to complete my purchase with out removing my mask with the added bonus of the staff wearing PPE.

Hands down, the best bourbon selection in town - I visited EVERY liquor store in Casper. Great prices. The bar is classy and comfortable and had an equally impressive selection. The service was great! Will make it my mission to visit if/when I ever return to Casper.

Vintage is one of my regular stops when I go out for drinks. Friendly, competent staff and extremely clean establishment with a great, laid back atmosphere. Fun menu options that are regularly changed so you don't feel like you're choosing from the same old bar cocktails.

The employees I've dealt with don't seem to want to be bothered to help their customers. I've gone in twice to have them special order a wine for me. Both times was told they "would get the wine info to the owner and they would call if they had problems finding it or when it comes in." First visit was 10 months ago. Second was 2 months ago. Still waiting for both those calls. I am getting the impression that their alcohol sales outside of the bar take the back seat. Sad really. 🙁
