Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Chicken restaurant in Tulsa - 1414 E 71st St, USA

This has got to be the most incompetent restaurant out there. Ordered from here through door dash. It’s now been 3 times in a row I have paid for extra sauce and received no sauce at all. Who ordered chicken strips and doesn’t get sauce. Nobody I’ve never met a single person who eats hem plain. Somebody needs to get a better way of getting the sauce in the bags.

It was raining really hard when we went through the drive through. We heard someone try to talk with us but due to the rain we were unable to understand what was being said. So we pulled up to the window to try and order that way since we couldn’t hear them at the ordering location. We were then told, quite rudely, that the employee had said “one moment” and that they would not take our order and we would have to go back around to order (long line behind us). The manager then came up behind the employee and stated that they “weren’t taking no orders at this window” I would understand if we had heard them and blatantly disregarded their wishes but the reality was that the rain made it almost impossible to distinguish what they were saying through the ordering intercom. Food was tasty, but window service was, needless to say, less than desirable. We ended up parking and going in for our meal since we had already spent a good amount of time in the drive through lane on our first round.

The service at this Popeyes is nothing short of awful. Placed an order and was completely forgotten about when waiting on fresh food. After 20 minutes, finally drove back around to find out what happened. And they admitted they forgot me and my order. The bill should’ve been comped and extra food added. Terrible. Just terrible.

This place is usually pretty good, but for whatever reason, they did an exceptionally good job today. It was one of the best spicy chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I will be telling my grandkids about it and my gravestone will have a brief description about the experience it provided me with today. 5/5 well done.

Restaurant seating area was very dirty, floor, tables were not wiped down and drink station area had spills all over counter and on floor. food tasted like it had set for a long time, not fresh. Was not a good experience this time.

Of course the food was good. The service was not good. I placed an online order, waited for ten minutes, I ordered it ten minutes before arriving, and they left it on the front counter, didn't call out a name or anything. They have a To-Go/Online Order section, but didn't use it today.

The only reason the atmosphere received 4 stars here is because I used the drive-thru, so I don’t have an accurate rating system for that. BUT, I will say that customer service at this location on Riverside was STELLAR. I even told the staff member, “you all are so much nicer than the other location!” The food was great— I got a 3pc. combo with red beans and rice. Service was fast, and there was a nice line, but it moved right along. I enjoyed visiting this location because they were so polite and efficient while busy!
