Great, flat cement trails at this picturesque park. A lot to see on the walking paths. Easy parking with access to a number of soccer fields.
Came to Pope Lick for the summer “Creature Feature” event and checked out the park as well. Beyond the urban legend this park is known for, the park itself is really beautiful. Wild flowers bloom along the entrance and display a bouquet of color. The park grounds have a lot of trails and signage clearly marks the routes. There is a nice park map which also helps navigate the large area Pope Lick covers. Soccer fields and ample parking make this an ideal spot to visit and host fun events like the one we attended. Plan to come back and explore more. (Just maybe not near the train bridge after dark)
This has become our family's go-to park in the area. The trails are beautiful and well-defined. Plenty of wildlife to gawk at if you're into that sort of thing. A generous amount of parking as well with direct access to the Louisville Loop.
Beautiful park. We’ll kept walking paths. There are paved and trail options.
This is one of my favorite parks to run. Very clean and well kept. Soccer fields are top notch and maintained well. The restroom is usually clean which is a huge plus compared to other park restrooms I’ve observed. The paths are beautiful and provides a wonderful experience whether you’re running, walking, or taking your dog for a walk.
I've had 2 scary and frustrating encounters with your park ranger who told me his name was Buddy. He was so aggressive with me on both encounters that I asked him to call the police because I'd rather speak to the police than to be yelled at by him so aggressively. He was so aggressive that I felt like he was looking for a physical fight with me which is why I wanted him to call the police to speak with me and I would have called the police on him if he wouldn't have left me alone. I don't feel comfortable going back to Pope Lick Park ever again which is where I used to host free soccer camps for children for 3 years (without being charged to use the facilities) and where I used to play soccer as a child and referee soccer games for over 10 years. I have been training soccer players at that park for over 15 years without needing a permit. In both encounters I was providing one on one soccer training to a soccer player on the Public Field that has a huge sign that says "PUBLIC FIELD. NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED." And the sign into the park says it's open from "DUSK TO DAWN."
A very clean and well managed park. An enjoyable experience for any number of outdoor activities.
This park is amazing park. A lot of work has gone into it and funded through donations from individuals. As we understand it. The people on the drive were very friendly and although I had a flat tire we still had opportunity to meet people as a stop by to ask if we need a help. A great place to go for miles and miles and smiles and smiles.

Beautiful park with great trails! Lots to do for the entire family. A kayak, put-in by the river, a splash pad for kids, a playground, multiple paved and not paved trails.
After searching for the perfect place to take outdoor family photos, through a search I came across this park. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. There are so many areas to walk, explore, or take photos with the beautiful wooded ba
A beautiful nice place. Typically a large park and a very good place for walking. This is just not a park, more than something of a park. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Ohio River, all the four bridges, especially, The Big Four Bridge. Th
A very small secluded, quiet, clean park, lots of places to sit...table, gazebo, porch swings, small jungle gym for kids, and 2 kids swings, we took a picnic lunch... this place is a neighborhood park, funded and taken care of by the neighborho
This was our first visit to Iroquois Park for the Jack O'Lantern spectacular, and we had a blast. My 3-year-old absolutely loved all the different pumpkin carvings and lights. There was a bit of a wait to get in, but that is to be expected when atten

Well maintained park with a very nice playground. They have many picnic tables and even a covered gazebo that can be rented out for parties; it was vacant when we visited on a Thursday. I loved that the paved walking/bike path was stroller friendly.

What an incredible experience! When I booked this place I was really nervous because it seemed too good to be true and I was so relieved to arrive and see that it was actually even better than the photos made it seem. My 40 friends and I took over th
We stumbled in here after grabbing food around the corner. We had a great experience. The bartenders were knowledgeable. As a bonus, they were having happy hour all day because it was Sunday. I think our old fashioned were $6 each. They were wonderfu
