Pontchartrain Motel - Hotel in St Clair - 6136 Gratiot Ave, USA

I stayed here 3 years ago for over a month. This place is very homey, with a very nice owner who keeps everything clean, including store bought sheets that are washed and changed weekly. Very relaxing and so reasonable on his rates.

Clean rooms good prices.

The owner/host accommodated us very late which we truly appreciated, however, the room we got smelled like aged cigarette smoke. The property looks clean with nice landscape but the rooms not so much. Not even a lightbulb in the lamp.

Have began renting to families kinda down on luck. Owners don't reduce their prices. It makes it hard to get into traditional housing. Very high monthly rent and weekly rent. Seems out of date. No air, very hot, said maybe next summer. Won't be back to see.

Location is convenient, right off the highway, nice and quiet considering. Theres a couple tire swings and gazebo out back.Theres comfy places to sit right outside your door provided ashtray too. It was clean and smelled good the towels and bedding were all fresh. A little dated but very cheap has cable tv and flat screen, mini fridge, AC. Wish there was a bathtub but thats it.

Family oriented. Rooms equipped with tv, fridge, microwave, nice and clean. Most of all the owner is very nice. I highly recommend this place. Affordable weekly rates ..

Great place to stay for temporary housing, or long term vacation stays. Very friendly owner. Clean rooms and bedding, fair priced.

Perfect if you're have temporary out of town construction work, and need a place to hang your hat away from the city. Relaxing atmosphere, great staff clean rooms
