I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. We were in such a nice room, ac worked well and gosh slept Soo great in a very comfy bed. The staff is amazing, Jen gave us directions to some places to eat and get groceries within walking distance. Lots of little breakfast things and coffee. 💯 recommend and will definitely be back to spend time with fam in the area
Nice place to stay, every room seems a little different appointed. Prices are fair, seems to be what you pay for. Continental breakfast is ok, lots to choose from, you won't go away hungry. Been here twice and would stay again.
I had to write a review because our stay was so lovely 🌹 very peaceful & quiet. Beautiful landscaping, sat in the wonderful hot tub with bird life all around. The staff was very sweet and accommodating. The room was very nice as well, large with a big fridge and microwave.. it was perfect 👌 Thank you guys for a wonderful stay ❤️ We will definitely be back 😁
The staff are friendly and answer all your questions. The room was big and easy to move around in. There was a sink in the bathroom and a sink outside the bathroom. Makes it easy for two people to get ready for the day. The bed was so comfortable that I had to ask what it was. Huge television, but it fits the size of the room. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is large and kept clean. I plan on going back with friends. Dog friendly.
Nestled in the heart of Paradise, we found this quaint little motel and it's charming owner, a truly wonderful place. My wife Peggy and I, along with our dog Wally thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations. Our room had a warm cottage feel, and an outside patio with chairs. It was impeccably clean and well cared for by Sandra and her friendly staff. Sally was especially kind and sweet. We all particularly loved the garden setting, mature trees, along with the peace and serenity that was unexpected in central Paradise. Surely you will want to visit the Ponderosa Gardens Motel if you ever find yourself in Paradise, especially if you have a pet. Wally can vouch for that!
Good beds and pillows, convenient, reasonably and competitively priced, large bathrooms, A/C, sliding glass door to a lovely little patio area outside complete with chairs and a table. Gardens are lush and green and peaceful and relaxing. Sometimes quiet, sometimes kids.||Easy check in and out, friendly folks too. ||Only thing, dining table and nightstand had dried on food / condiment, maybe BBQ sauce; wood grain, easy to miss. Otherwise spotless.
Imagine. Driving into what seems at first, a bit odd, as all you see is a small, but quant professional plaza. Once you pass it, you'll find yourself in a motel entry like most, until you walk in and are greeted by a team of friendly, professionals and a small, yet fun boutique with beautiful items from Peru, to necessary items and trinkets you must stop by to check, rather or not you plan on staying. If you decide to, it can be spendy. We had a 1 king size bed and paid $155 for one night. Let me tell you though, totally worth it and this is why. First off, it's Paradise! A quaint town with folks who are friendly, strong, versatile and working together to bring back, what was once lost in a horrific fire. Second, it's a hidden little gem of treasure. Once you walk into your room with your temporary golden key, the room, bathroom is spacious with a small side kitchen area with a small fridge, microwave, tv which provides a great variety of things to watch. And if you care to be outside, you have your own sliding door which leads into your own patio. There you'll find a nicely lit, seating area and a well kept landscaping, with an atmosphere that is tranquil and serene. The pool and spa was an amazing plus after a hard day. And clean laundry and breakfast goodies were very nice too. But..... don't just take my experience. Close to conveniences, all you need is to come and check it out for yourself! And definitely taking a bit of paradise with you. I know I have!
We absolutely LOVED our stay at ponderosa gardens, the grounds were immaculately kept and the rooms were nice and cozy. Rooms have been recently updated so that was a plus. They offer a very generous continental breakfast which includes pastries, juice, coffee, tea, cereal, milk, poptarts, naked brand smoothies and even some healthier options like hard boiled eggs and oatmeal. We loved being able to wake up in the morning and enjoy breakfast on our patio which was facing the gardens. The grounds are beautiful to walk around, and the property is also right next to a paved walking trail which is great. They are also pet friendly which was awesome for us because we were traveling with our little dog. If you have kids with you, Ponderosa gardens offers a pool and a little playground fit for young children on the property. Lastly, there is a super cute gift shop in the office stocked with a wide variety of toiletries if you need them and they even have some dog food, treats, and other pet things available for purchase in case you forget anything for your pet. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. The amenities and beauty of this place can't be beat.
The Butte Creek Watershed Overlook is a pretty typical vista point pull out. There are no amenities aside from the parking lot, but the view across the canyon at sunset, combined with all of the locks on the fence, make this one of my favorite stops.
