Stayed here for a night in October before they closed for the winter with my car. The price of $50 per night, including taxes, covers overnight accommodation for 2 persons in a car and allows you to use the sanitary facilities. The clean bathroom for women had 3 toilets and 3 showers for all the campground guests. I never had to wait, but I was one of the only guests during that time. They do have washers and dryers, but they cost $3 each. The place was quiet, but there were several bright lamps standing and shining on the campground. You may need to cover your car windows for a better sleep. The camp ground is directly in Cody and only 5 min drive from the Buffalo Bill museum! I would recommend going there for just some days to explore the region. They allow one night stays.
Stayed here in late August. Convenient to town. About half the park has nice roomy sites. The rest are extremely small sites. So small the sewer hook up ended up under the RV. No room to set our chairs up without being on another site. Had to keep shades down due to sitting on top of neighbors. Couldn’t put the awning out without hitting the trailer beside us. Next time we’ll stay in a more welcoming park.
Loved this campground, close to the museum which you should plan for two full days, the tickets are for two days, and there's a good reason. Fantastic! The bus stops to take you to the rodeo, it's only 5 bucks round trip and the rodeo is not bad price either, we went two nights and had a blast! Beer was 5 bucks which seems fair at a rodeo. There's a Chinese buffet a couple blocks from the museum and we recommend it. DQ is next to the campground which will not do any weight watchers any good but nice and convenient. Wyoming Roadhouse is just the other side of that, a bit pricey but delicious! And the ladies in the office are awesome, bathrooms are clean, camp is nice, wonderful time, we will be back
We drove through Cody and looked at the different RV Parks, some not so good but the Ponderosa looked great. They were extremely friendly over the phone. Check in was easy and they told us to come back and they'd go over things to do in the area. Will definitely come back.
Lots are unusually close together but otherwise a very good campground. Grass and trees are a plus. The biggest plus about this campground is the staff especially the lady that works in the office. She loves to help people and provide information - and she is a hoot! Campground is very conveniently located for Yellowstone and many other Cody attractions.
Great little campground almost in the center of town. Walking distance to buffalo bills center of the west. Just short of a mile to Irma hotel. The front desk ladies are just wonderful and so sweet. Sites can be tight but are very nice and the showers and laundry facilities are very clean. Cash or check only just be sure you have it handy.
Would not recommend this place! First of all the sites are super tight and crowded. You could reach out and touch your neighbor. We were also greeted in the morning by a mobile power washing company power washing the large rig behind us. We could not sit outside and have a conversation it was so loud. When I asked the front desk guy about it he was EXTREMELY rude and ARGUMENTATIVE and told me this is 100% acceptable. He also told me I should have said something to the power washing company and not to the front desk, he said “It’s not their problem”. I have never seen such horrible and rude customer service. A simple “I’m sorry it shouldn’t last long and I understand your concern” would have gone a LONG way. We have been camping for many years and have never heard of this type of protocol in a campground. Dont give these people your money it was very disappointing.
Wonderful park; clean and quiet. The front desk staff were very helpful in recommending options to see and do while in Cody. I strongly suggest you follow their tips: those tips sure made our visit better!
We had the best time at this KOA! The hosts are so wonderful and friendly. Pancake breakfast was great as were all the activities for the kids. Facilities were very clean and the campground is well kept. I have recommended this campground to so many
What a cool experience! We are a family of firearms and history enthusiasts and this was such a fun day! Took the whole family (kids ages 10, 12, and 14) and the kids each shot a couple and the adults did as well. Jim was our RSO and he was FANTASTIC
Cody Craft Brewing is delicious! Their beer is top notch compared to all of the other places in town. Delicious hazy IPA and Pilsner. They have a great atmosphere as well. Just wish they had some more food truck or in house food options.
The ladies who work in this store are very helpful. I was receiving pictures to my gallery file that I did not take. They took the time to research the problem and solved it for me. Thank you. Also, never once did they try to sell me a new plan or t
Love love LOVE this cute and amazing little gem. The shop itself is nicely set up with the market with amazing food for sale. Their menu is full of delicious options. I picked the Italian sandwich, which might seem safe, but itâs literally the most
So glad we found Beta Coffeehouse on our way into Yellowstone. The vibe was so friendly and cozy. It was lovely to hear locals be greeted warmly and the place was full of things to help you enjoy your time there (boardgames, books, art). The cold bre
You go through the tunnels in the mountains to get here which is cool. Parking is plentiful and there were free golf cart rides to the dam/visitor center from the parking lot and back. Though it's not terribly far it was nice on a hot day not to walk
What a fantastic place! The food was wonderful & the show was magnificent! Ryan Martin was the perfect MC & such a talented performer. Marvin Short, Greg Pendley, Johnny Sanchez & Ann Pendley were amazing & oh so talented! If you are in Cody Wyoming,
I walked into this store thinking there wasn't a chance I'd find a pair of Western Boots that fit right because I wear an uncommon size. Well, the associate put in a ton of effort and found me 2 really good options. After he spent over an hour workin
