Service was excellent, prices were very reasonable, but food was just okay. The house salad with homemade vinaigrette was yummy, and the crab cake was tasty. However, the crawfish etouffe tasted like it was from a jar, a little gelatinous, could have used more umph on flavor and creamier. The appetizer sampler and shrimp poor boy were a little bland. I asked for some melted "butter" and was given a very salty, slightly cold, coagulated margarine. The margarine is also on the bread, which I can only assume is their "butter" Margarine is not my thing. Clean bathrooms was a plus.
We found this place searching Google. It was easily accessible off and on I20. We were seated immediately and did not wait long for our food. Our service was great and the food was delicious!
We got there right after church. It took about 15 minutes to seat us. My wife wanted the seafood platter, so I shared it with her. The food was a little too salty for me but my wife loved the fried oysters. My son got the crawfish etouffe. Our waitress was good, Charlie. It’s an overall good restaurant.
Boo fries might look a bit egh but they are delicious 🤤 pasta chicken salad was good. And my husband his was delicious. Not sure what it was.
Their Creole and Nola style food is to die for. I literally felt swept back to trips to New Orleans and Mobile. Their gumbo was dark and rich, the etouffee was absolutely heaven. Possibly the best okra I've ever had from a restaurant.
GREAT food & AMAZING customer service. My go to is the catfish lunch special, fresh, filling, & a great price. The fried green tomatoes are awesome as well. Special thanks to staff that found my wallet after I left & made sure I got it back.
The food was well-cooked with good textures, but pretty bland. Somehow the side of bread might’ve been better than the actual jambalaya. But it was fixable since they had salt, pepper, Tabasco sauce, and more available. The beans are pretty good. Though I’m from Houston, so not sure if I’m used to overly flavorful food or something. The service was slow due to a lack of employees, but the employees were very friendly!
I loved in Broussard LA (South Louisiana) for 34 years! The food here is even better than I expected! Our server was top notch!!! We will definitely be back!
I had to turn off my hearing aid because of the lyrics on one of rap songs.
The food was so good and the young lady at the register was great! Food ready quickly and everything was very clean. Enjoyed the Christmas songs! Merry Christmas!
We have worked with the Preserves for a number of years as a vendor and this property is top notch. From the staff to the quality of amenities and buildings themselves, this is a great place to live near campus. Gated and safe.
We LOVED spending the day with Jordyn! We drove 4 hours to see her! My mom (70yrs old on the arm), daughter (ribs), and myself (leg) got matching tattoos.
Gibsonâs is my go to place, as Iâm vegan and they have many options.
Iâm also fond of management, as if thereâs something I recommend to be supplied or in stock, they have taken suggestions and will place an order.
