Pomo RV Park & Campground - Featured Reviews (366)
This is as nice as any campground we have stayed at. The overall layout is great and it seems like every individual site is really clean, secluded with the hookups easily accessible. The staff is very kind and helpful. The location is only about a mile from Fort Bragg and most of the campers head over there during the day. The biggest problem is finding a site with so many of them already booked. But we love the site we got and this place will be our first choice for impromptu visits to the coast.
We were happy to stay at this campground. Host was great & helpful. The campground is clean and quiet. The site we stayed in gave enough of privacy, reminded me of home in Washington, where we usually camp. And where we live. Close enough to town, if you need anything.

I don’t recommend this RV park due to the unprofessional behavior of the owners/managers. When we checked in we asked if there were 2 sites near each other so we could camp near our friends. The check-in person refused to look to see if there were two open sites near each other. Okay, fine. We didn’t complain or say anything, even though the site next to ours was vacant our entire stay and they put our friends on the other side of the campground.
On our second day the male owner/manager raced up to our campsite in a golf cart, accused us of driving one mile per hour over the 5 mph speed limit, called us “rape dapes,” and threatened to kick us out of the park. All within the span of 20 seconds, before we could even respond. Then he sped off at a speed much higher than 5 mph. I can only guess he has rage issues that he chooses to take out on guests staying in the park.
We are experienced campers who follow campground rules and treat others—staff and fellow campers—with courtesy and respect. We have never before experienced behavior like this from campground hosts or owners.
Bottom line: You’re better off spending your money at a place whose owners treat their customers professionally and courteously. These people certainly do not want repeat business. Read through the reviews and you’ll see that rude and unprofessional behavior by the owners/managers are a constant theme. So, it’s not just us.
Pomo RV Campground is very nice! Sites are private, roomy and clean. The registration office people are polite and helpful.|All hookups are in great condition. The only improvement I would suggest to the owners is to fence the maintenance yard so clients don't have to see the mess. It looks like a junkyard!. HOWEVER, I would highly recommend this place as you only see the maintenance yard when you drive by and NOT from your campsite. The rest of the campground is beautiful and good wifi was a bonus!
We stayed 03/28/2024 to Easter day 03/31/2024 at site 57. We arrived late on Thursday and they had a map and our papers ready for us on the door when we came. The campground was fairy empty and very quiet. Lots of flowers and green grass, the sites themselves were pretty level and gravel. Most sites where surrounded with shrubs so you have some privacy between sites. We enjoyed our stay, the ladies at the front were nice. No one to fill our propane when it was rainy but they recommended us a place right up the road. This campground is only 10 minutes from stores, down town and glass beach which was nice. It was so quiet you could hear the ocean from where we were. Only 10 minutes from North Coast Brewery, and 5 minutes from Jug Handle beach access as well! (We recommend the Old Stock Ale from the brewery!) We will definitely come back and stay again!
We camp here almost every year as a family and have for many years. We've never been disapointed. Sites are clean, well cared for, with plenty of privacy. Bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily. The owners have made upgrades to the wi-fi the last few years and most of the trailer sites we've stayed in get a decent to good connection depending on location.
Quiet place. Spots are close together but there is a nice wall of vegetation between most of them providing good privacy. Great access to both Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Staff is friendly and helpful. Tall trees and LOTS of natural plants and flowers around the grounds. Good wifi!
Descent place to stay depending on the site u get. The sites have vegetation in between them for privacy and some have full hook while others have electrical and water. Some of the sites are very close together so parking a bigger rv can be a challenge if u want to have some space. Staff was friendly. Would definitely drive through the campground next time to find a better spot if there were more options available

Beautiful relaxing little cove. Nice walk on a marked trail and down a small set of stairs. Please be respectful of the beauty and the neighbors stay on the marked area.
Such an amazingly beautiful place. I've been during the summer and the winter and I can only say that each time I am left stunned. The staff's dedication and love for nature is found throughout the gardens. If you're looking for a great way to spend
Definitely one of my favorite locations on Mother Earth. Beautiful views, loved our campsite (we've stayed twice in the same spot), the trails are excellent, and the beach is awesome. Gorgeous flora, fauna, and fungi.
My husband and I visit Fort Bragg a couple of times per year and this time we came across this wonderful establishment. We got there just in time for the grill to be fired up and we had the most incredible oysters for breakfast perfectly cooked and s
We only took the short trail to the beach, but it was a very nice little beach. It's protected a bit by bluffs on each side and lots of sand to run and play on, as well as the creek coming down to the ocean. Pretty views of the bridge.

It is an excellent place to eat outside at the harbor. The fish is fresh and tastes great, in my opinion. I ordered the fish tacos. If you try the fried wontons, get the large order. There is also a great selection of beer and wine.
