Polpo Palm Beach - Italian restaurant in Manalapan - 100 S Ocean Blvd, USA

Came here for a date night and it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences. We had a reservation but still had to wait a while for our table despite the restaurant being close to empty. Our waiter barley checked on us, yet checked in on all the tables around us. We asked for water like 4 times and finally we had to go grab the pitcher ourselves. I ordered a drink and it never came. I have a food allergy and my food came with my allergen on it despite specifically talking to the waiter about it. Pretty dangerous. Since he never came around to check on us, we had to once again get up from the table to find someone to talk to. At this point it was so late I just told them to take it back. They didn’t remove it from the bill, and the least they could have done was apologize, but they didn’t. Our waiter sent someone else to send us the bill, and they didn’t come out to grab it so we had to again walk in and personally deliver it to them. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a restaurant before, but hey at least I got a workout in for chasing around the staff for basic needs I never got! I reached out to the hotel, but no one has gotten back to me. You’re better off dining at McDonald’s.

My sister and I came here for breakfast before our spa day. Food, service and view were all excellent. They had the best chia pudding I've ever had. They even had almond milk for my coffee. Definitely recommend treating yourself to a meal here.

We had an amazing dinner. Starting with the the glass of wine by the ocean bar, then followed by great service by waiter Brannon and warm welcome by Ahmed, and then we tasted the best seafood dishes we ever had! Chef surprised us by coming to the table and mentioning to us his current and future creations. We will be back very often!

We celebrated our anniversary at Polpo, and boy did they show us the love. The service was amazing, if I could give them 10 stars, I would! And the food…everything was delicious! The portions are very generous…we brought 1/2 of it home. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s lunch!!!! Besides the fabulous service and the extraordinary food, you cannot beat the view. We’ll most definitely return, and I’m pretty sure we won’t be waiting until our next anniversary. You will not be disappointed.

Christmas Day brunch was outstanding! A wonderful selection of high quality offerings. The service exceeded my expectations and met all of our needs. This is what a dining experience should be like. Awesome job by all team members!

Just came back from NYE dinner from Polpo and it was the worse dinner we have had. Our steaks came out cold as if they came from a fridge. We asked for new ones and they clearly tried to rush cooking them because they came back raw. The manager didn't not seem bothered at all. Everything else was average, service was poor. And the NYE celebrations was terrible. I would not recommend this hotel on a regular day let alone NYE dinner and celebrations. Avoid this poorly run establishment.

Nice spot. Shellfish was perfect. Turkey club and burger were so so. Desserts great. Service was what you would expect in a resort.

Excellent! From the time the valet opened my car door, to the friendly hotel staff, the pleasant & professional Maitre d and finally Brennan our server, our 35th wedding anniversary dinner was perfect! The food was great, the ambiance lovely and we can’t wait to go back! We were extremely surprised to receive complimentary champagne to toast our anniversary along with a complimentary dessert plate. It was just wonderful and definitely on our list of memorable evenings. Thanks to everyone at the Eau who made our night so special!
