I did have some issues when they had started ,there were times more than 3 in a row I’d missed a side of tortillas burnt chicken, or a missing piece I did call and send an email to headquarters and they told me Ashley will be in charge , turns out she’s so young so nice ,with all my respect she’s dedicated, beautiful, she’s got what it takes. Thank you Ashley you saved Pollo Campero because I was already tired but since you took over my chicken has been complete and thank you for everything. Everything‘s perfect

Best fried chicken. Crispy, tender and juicy!! Delicious fried plantains too. This restaurant is from Guatemala and very popular in El Salvador as well. Is worth trying! The place is very clean too and servers very polite.
Got the 3 piece fried chicken meal with 2 sides
( beans & yuca fries ) and the mango drink
Everything was really good especially the chicken it was super juicy and had great flavor I really liked the beans the yuca fries were okay and the mango drink was really good also got the empanadas they were okay
Will definitely be back
First time visiting Pollo Campero. I was apprehensive about their 2 1/2 star rating on another platform but decided to give them a try. We ordered their 3-pc meal which was priced at $11.25. We got the breast, leg, and a wing (+$1 more), 2 sides and a roll and it came with the Campero sauce. For the sides, we chose the yuca fries and coleslaw. The sauce IS IT! It tied everything together. The chicken was not overly breaded and was juicy, but it tasted a lot better with the sauce. The yuca fries were perfectly salted but the Campero sauce gave the yucca fries a definitely enjoyable level of flavor profile. The coleslaw was the least liked part of the meal. It was heavy on the mayo and celery. Service was fast and friendly. The dining area was nice. They have regular tables and booths as well as bar height tables and chairs. Their restrooms are gender-neutral with a pull-out baby changing station. Parking was adequate. For those who want take out, you can order online and then pick up or go to the drive through.
Well, today I went to get some chicken since I was close by. I arrived at 4:55 p.m. , and there was a line to order about 6 people in front of me, not bad for a Sunday afternoon, I ordered 20 pcs of chicken 10 fried and 10 grilled, when I ordered the clerk checked with the kitchen if there was in off to get my ordered so I thank him for doing that, well after 30 minutes waiting for my ordered and seeing people that were before me waiting for there order I started to get nervous, 5 minutes later a lady that ordered 10 minutes after got her order, so I went and asked what happened for my order the lady that was giving the orders out said "oh you are next sorry" she comes with an order and call another name, I look at her and told her 2nd order u are giving after me? Another lady comes and tells me o "sorry, Sr, but we are waiting on the grill chicken it will take another 13 minutes to get it ready." REALLY, you tell me this after 40 minutes waiting come on. I had no choice but to wait. Well, she was right after 15 minutes, the order was ready, almost one hour after I placed the order. This is not right. I am so disappointed the food is good but wait. One hour to get the food, and because I complained otherwise, maybe longer. Wait, this is not it once I got home with the chicken. Guess what the grilled chicken. The one I have to wait one hour to be ready was burned. I attached a picture so all of u can see it. By the way, they printed the delivery ticket 10 minutes before I actually got the order.
Never again will come to this place again. Sorry, Pollo Campero, your staff is not profecional.
I had a fried chicken sandwich. It was probably a little better than Popeyes or KFC. It was$10.03 with tax. That seems high but it's hard to tell what things are supposed to cost with the crazy inflation in the last years.
Im so happy to ser pollo campero here in the States. I love going when I visit my family in Guatemala. The food is delicious. Super fresh. It came out fast and hot which I love. And the service is great!
excellent service and tasty chicken recommended!!!
