Polliwog Park - Park in Manhattan Beach - 1601 Manhattan Beach Blvd, USA

This park was really fun for both parents and kids. There is lots of space to run around and very cool playgrounds. We even got to enjoy some fruit for a snack. The pond made for a nice view for my husband and I while the kids played. The park was clean, and it also had a workout area for those 14 and older.

I've been going to this park since I was a little kid. I've taken Xander a few times over the years, but this is the first time we've been since the playground by the lake has been completely redone. I must say, they did a great job. All of the playground equipment was super nice quality, and every kid there looked like they were having a blast. Xander and his little buddies definitely were! It was pretty fun for daddy as well. They even have a little pirate ship in the new playground. I'd like to think it was a little nod to the giant wooden pirate ship that used to be there when I was younger. Which was very awesome and why Polliwog was always my favorite park as a kid. However, I do understand that the splintery behemoth would be considered a little dangerous by today's standards .

Great park with botanical garden. Great for dogs, but because there are ducks, geese, birds near the lake, dogs should stay on leash.

It’s a beautiful park for children to enjoy playing. It’s also a beautiful spot for picnics and feeding the ducks, turtles, and geese. I totally recommend to feed the animals. Since bread isn’t healthy for ducks, I instead feed them bananas, peas, corn (they love it a lot!!) and lettuce. Totally come here! It’s an amazing place. 💐

Absolutely love Polliwog Park! This expansive green space is a true haven for dog lovers like me. There's so much room for my pup to roam freely and safely. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, whether you're lounging by the pond or taking a leisurely walk through the well-maintained grounds. What really sets it apart, though, are the clean bathrooms—such a rare find in public parks. Highly recommend for a day out with family, friends, and your four-legged companions. Five stars!

We hosted our daughters first birthday at this park and loved it!! My favorite picnic pads for birthday parties are #1 and #8 because of the natural shade. We used #1 in these pictures. Felt very safe, cheerful and easy to customize the space. The only negative is the lack of parking.

Large green park with natural duck pond/lake. Hills and trees and lots of facilities. Dogs on leashes or small (tiny) dog run area (wood chips). Local botanical garden in one area. Hosts Sunday in the Park concerts during the summer. Public pool attached.
