My daughter in-law thought this would be a good place to take us on our visit to Detroit and I was so impressed. This food reminded me of my childhood and my grandmothers cooking. Schnitzel, Pierogi, Potato Pancake & Pierogies, Smoked Kielbasa, cabbage and pickle soup. We had a large group and tried it all. Our server was a very spunky lady who we were told had been working here for 43 years. She set us straight on a few things. May turn off some but remained me of my great aunt. Awesome food and beer choices. Great service. Can’t wait to return.
This place was absolutely awesome. The food, service, atmosphere, and ambience of the place was incredible. Very cool vibe and super old school. I got schnitzel, city chicken, and kielbasa. It was all extremely good. The flavor is incredible and super homestyle. Highly recommend!
A delicious experience in Hamtramck! Authentic polish food in an classic charming dining room. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt in serving us. We had the Kielbasa soup, pork schnitzel, and pierogis! Eveeything was a 10/10 and we washed it all down with a Polish lager. We will be back! And just a heads up they are cash or check only
This place is authentic & clearly full of history! The first thing you see is a basket full of a variety of bread that you can't help but reach for as soon as you sit down. The soup was soothing, and potato & cheese pierogi was so delicious! The highlight was a unique kind of schnitzel. I loved the special experience this place provided. Also very reasonable price. Highly recommend this place!
I love going to the Polish Village Cafe, and if you like Polish food you will too. I always enjoy eating in a non national chain restaurant and have menus selections of different cultures. I also like supporting the small business owner. I gave it an 4 on atmosphere only because it is a very old restaurant and it shows. But I was considering giving it a 5 because I appreciate/enjoy restaurants with character. So it is a 5 for me. But if you like new professionally designed restaurants I wanted you to know what to expect.
--2023-09-01 Never having polish food before it was really good. Some things I would get again would be their cheddar perogies and mash potatoes with gravy. See the photos for the food my family and I ate.

John came here and loved it! I had a tiny wine with a teeny plum. What a delight! So many little guys in so many little things. I canât believe it! If I could give them 7 stars I would!
We found this place on Uber Eats. Surprisingly, they had a lot of BOGOS. We tried the wings, onion rings and chicken shawarma pitas. All of it was impressive. So delicious. We will eat here again.

Attended Everything is Terrible Kidz Club yesterday. Planet Ant was a perfect venue. Intimate with great sound. Perfect for performances like yesterdayâs. The attached bar has very affordable drinks available. Some of the beer was only $3.
We went on a night that they had live local music. What fun!! A true dive bar, which is my favorite! Space is tight inside and every shot on the pool table is a trick shot! There's a beautiful black cat that roams the property. The outside area is s
Great place. Super cool. It's at the end of a dead end road, so I was not sure if that was the right way, but it was. Great drinks, and it's really fun. The owner was there, so I talked with him a little. They fill the Beer from the bottom using spec
Awesome stadium and team. They have different food trucks so don't worry about getting food beforehand. They only allow empty bottles into the stadium, but you can refill them at one of the water fill stations. FYI the left stands are rowdier than th
