Nice and cool breezy place to hangout. Easy to get a parking spot. Less crowded and it's good for fishing.
What can I say? It's Benicia! Quaint, semi secluded, a respite from the hussle and bussle of the fast paced life in the Bay Area. Don't miss the many fine restaurants and the annual Peddlar's each August!
Great place for an evening stroll! Safe, very accessible. Nice views of the Carquinez Straits. Lots of small shops, eats , art, historical sites.

Great place to sit and enjoy the views of Benicia or the Carquinez Straits. A paved Jedi leads to a pier where most everyday, fisherman can be seen fishing for sturgeon and striped bass
The narrow strip of beach here is rocky and the dark sand doesn't look all that inviting. HOWEVER, dogs are allowed to romp off leash and that rare freedom might trump these other considerations for many pet owners.
Breezes off the bay are a welcome relief from oppressive summer heat elsewhere in the region and the views are soothing.
It's so beautiful and peaceful here, that after just few minutes, I can feel the day's stress just melt away. As corny as this is to say, it feels sort of magical here. My dog loves it tpo and even saw and otter once from the pier. #Dopeness
This bakery is AWESOME! I love the baked goods, drinks and seating areas inside and out! Besides the seating street-side, in front of the business, there is also a two-story dining area out back that is a lovely garden scape, and dog friendly too!
