I didn't get a chance to stay here. The manager, Tony, didn't like how I was "inspecting" the room and said he wants no complaints and wouldn't feel comfortable renting to me. Too bad. For the record, looked cute, small but nice. I saw no bugs or uncleanness in the brief time I walked through. Would have been fine for me. He lost out. 3 stars, could have been more.
I booked a room at this motel because I mistook it for another one that I had stayed in the past with a similar name. Once I realized, it was too late because the room was non-refundable. I proceeded to read the reviews and got really worried because they were pretty bad. But I still take reviews with a grain of salt because motels aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. While I like boujee, I can also do laid back and there is also something nostalgic and familiar about a sea side motel on the the shore. So I took a chance and unfortunately there was nothing nostalgic, or familiar, or by the sea. This place was close to two miles from the beach and boardwalk so it was still not within walking distance on a very hot day. At first glance, the motel looks pleasant enough from the outside because it looked like it had been painted recently. The surrounding area was also very nice with quaint charming homes that were very well maintained. So how bad can their neighbor be, right? Wrong. Thankfully the room itself had no carpet. That was the only silver lining because who knows what could have been living in the carpet. The bathroom was abysmal with weird paper hanging from the shower ceiling and mold on the shower curtain. There were no toiletries which was fine. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and there was no insulation between the walls and the ceilings so you can hear everyone walking upstairs and next to you. I did a check on the mattress and the sheets and that was where the true horror show unfolded. Looked like a murder scene with every type of body secretion imaginable had stained the mattress. I almost find it offensive that trip advisor has this motel as the very first one listed and would actually advertise trip rewards to book at this property. This place is awful and at $343 a night, a complete rip off! It was my mistake for not reading the reviews beforehand and also not making sure the property was the one that I had stayed in previously. Several motels in Point Pleasant have similar names so don’t make the same mistake that I did and be sure to read the reviews before you book!
Normally we don’t mind a no-frills motel down the shore, it’s a place to stay close to the beach, but this was pretty bad. New floors, paint job, and IKEA comforters are really just lipstick on a pig. TV wouldn’t turn on despite our troubleshooting, windows were broken/didn’t close all the way and had no screens (we used a belt to rig it shut to avoid bugs entering!), bed frames had wheels and would roll on the smooth floor when you sat or lied down, weird/suspicious stains all over curtains, stove had been ripped out and kitchen torn apart, cracked tiles, rust stains in the shower and elsewhere, and unsealed holes in walls where paper towels were stuffed in. The room was generally clean. Decent proximity to the boardwalk which is what we wanted. Staff was friendly, so I feel bad leaving this review but I can’t help but feel ripped off. I know it’s Memorial Day weekend and our booking was last minute, but $200/night for this room was criminal. Tonight’s rate is almost $400 which is absolutely insane, you should be able to book out all the rooms at a place like this for that kind of money. Pool wasn’t even open. Should have paid well under 100… bare bones, bare minimum, if that :/ wish I could give 0 stars
When I went in the room it looked nice. Then it became a nightmare. The bathroom was filthy. The room and outside was infested with roaches. I went to dinner and once I got back and it was dark out it was bug central. There is no way I could of slept there. I went home. I got a refund but it took about a week.
HORRRRIBLE property, would NOT recommend, had a family vacation (with our 10 year old) and automatically when we got there there was two strange men in the parking lot doing who knows what (drug deal we think). Heard a man hitting his wife two doors away from the front desk (no one called the cops of course). Walked in the room to what looked nice, but then slowly learned it was hell. AC didn't work, bugs all in the bathroom asked for new sheets due to pee stains and the house keeper said "we don't change sheets till about mid may and we don't clean rooms because we aren't too busy so they don't need to be cleaned all the time" so I looked at my husband and said get us a refund now. Got a refund and left. RUN RUN RUN. They tried to make us look at a different room I declined, I was not having my child sleep there for one night.|Pathetic place would actually like a number to call to report to the health department we have|EVERYTHING on video INCLUDING her admitting They don’t clean the rooms
All the bad reviews are accurate stayed here cause it was close to wedding venue. For the price they’re charging this place could do better. Rooms were dirty, there was mold in the bathroom and manager didn’t seem like he wanted to be there.
Positive: Small Roaches in hotel.Bath tub has mildew. We would switch but got there at midnight and too late to change. Negative: ""
$90 for the night. Air conditioner was broken, bed was super stiff, couldn't open a window unless you trusted nothing was going to crawl through the screenless windows facing a wooded area.
Tiffany is very organized and police. Nancy is beyond helpful and a huge personality which is what is needed during check in. She even offered to help me bring my bags to the second floor. That is about and beyond in my booth. Quiet and clean. The
Hands down, these are the biggest bagels I have ever seen in my life! Now, coming from a Brooklyn family, I have certainly had my share of bagels. These were not only enormous, but they were tasty! Great selection of different flavors and they als
Always friendly with a fantastic selection of fruits and veggies! The plants they sell are also beautiful and we've gotten pumpkins and gourds from them in the fall! I will always skip the produce section in the store just so I can get it from here!
I have never done a review prior but I was compelled to in this case. I attended my best friends wedding on Oct 9th at the Herbary in Howell, NJ. Lovelandtown catered the event and they were pure perfection. I have never heard so many people at a wed

I have been coming here several times a week for approx.4 years. Why? The food is excellent; the staff is courteous, friendly, and top notch. On top of THOSE very important characteristics, the place is EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN. You will notice that the m
Great service, delicious food and pleasant atmosphere. We started with a few drinks (Mermaid water and margarita) and a jumbo pretzel (all great). Main course we had the secret sauce burger and blackened chicken Alfredo. Recommend cutting the burger
