If you like history and/or American Literature and/or poetry, it's pretty cool to see the house where Edgar Allen Poe lived, and by extension how the Bronx must have looked in the 1800s. They were doing renovations when we were there in June 2021, so we didn't get to go into the little museum or get close to the house. There's also a playground nearby for kids!
Had a marvelous time so did my emotional support puppy he loved playing and running in the grass on his own journey and next to the park was a food market where I also did some shopping my aid, myself and my baby what a beautiful day! ✨😊
Nice an peaceful a block from the library and other places: to eat, buy clothes, etc. I tend to go there and wait for the luv of my life to appear 🙃🌺
Excellent park. I performed with my students and then they enjoyed the playground to the fullest.
I live in Manhattan and love exploring the boroughs. Poe Park was a highly pleasant surprise. Initially, I was just excited to see the residence of Edgar Allen Poe, but I was quickly welcomed in to the lovely community center. Although I arrived late, I was allowed to join a free bottle painting session where I met and made friends with local seniors. There are also activities for kids and a public restroom. Highly recommend !
Mostly clean. Friendly staff. Wish the playground had more coverage from the sun, but it was a fun experience for my toddler.
It supposed to be family oriented but there is other activities that it's not for children to see
Pretty decent park. Always renovating something in there. You just have to be on the lookout when you are here because crazy people always start a shooting with a rival from around the neighborhood or there’s a drunk person lingering around. The kids area is clean though as well as the entire park. Wish it were like before when you can sit in a park without having to be on alert mode from everyone walking around. Would give it a 4 or 5 start but the renovation every time is a bit too much.

This is one of the places that makes me happy to live in Riverdale. Nestled between the Hudson River and the furthest western street in the Bronx is this beautiful park. It is quiet with many trees and squirrels to keep you company. I sat on log the
I travel from Inwood to Paulâs Park because of the basketball courts and the good times Iâve spent there. The people over there are super dope. Playground is legit right next to the courts with a baseball diamond nearby as well.
I enjoyed Pelham Bay Park. I went on the trails on Hunter Island and visited Glovers Rock. The trails were interesting and scenic. The park was quiet and peaceful during this time of year.
Seton Park is scenic, gorgeous and peaceful; in fact, old Pete, the Jewish Bruin lives on the closest bench to west 235th Street therein! He says it's even warmer at 3am on a January morning in the park than at 11am on any weekday inside the nearby.
Really cute little park with a playground, and sprinklers. I happened to stumble upon it while waiting forever for the bus. Also there is a baseball field and a few pieces of workout equipment. There's a really nice view of the water as well.
Great part of the upper east side of the Bronx NY. Easily accessible via exit 11 off New England Thruway I95. The is a public swimming pool, basketball and soccer field, children's playground with slides, swings etc. There's also a performance sta
Cool park to chill on a nice day. Plenty of room for families to picnic. Playground and Basketball courts available. Benches are also aplenty. Near shopping and transportation if needed. Great place to hear the true sounds of the Bronx. Well lit in t
