This place is a gem! Probably the best food I’ve had since moving back to the area last year. Portions are generous and the service is great. They wereaccommodating of food intolerances (gluten/dairy) too, which we really appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Small, family owned business with AMAZING food! We live about 2 hours away but when we are in the area this is our go to spot! The service is great, the place quaint and the food is great! Love this place! Have always had great meals here and to-go. The beer selection is impressive and I like almost every beer. One food pic shows it half eaten, I couldn’t wait to take a pic! This place is definitely worth frequenting. I need to try more desserts and to sit out on the back patio.

Kielbasa, pierogi, Gołąbek and Polish beer, need I say more?!! Everything we had was delicious.

Service = Excellent - Waitress is knowledgeable and efficient Food = Very Good - Not overly spiced, and not frozen fare Atmosphere = Nice - Very Spartan, but functional Major Annoyance = Inexplicably, they charged $1.50 for a small rameken of sour cream!?! Who eats perogies without it??

This was the second time we had dinner at Podlasie. We thought we'd try some different dishes. They bring out warm bread and butter first. My husband decided to try the Bigos (Polish Hunter's Stew). It has cabbage, sausage, mushrooms and small bits of meat, like chicken. It is not stew as many people are used to...but it is a traditional Polish Hunter's stew. That's what you would expect at a Polish restaurant. My husband had a side of beets and mashed potatoes. I had the Kotlet de Volaille (a breaded chicken cutlet with spinach, cheese and garlic) with a side of sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. We finished the meal with a moist chocolate cake with a peanut butter cream layer and whipped cream top layer. Everything was really tasty. The atmosphere is very layed back. I feel as if I'm dining in a small restaurant in Poland. The waiter is very kind and courteous. You can't be in a hurry when you eat here...it's not a fast food restaurant. But if you want an authentic experience you can relax here with a nice meal, a Warka Polish beer or a cup of tea...and take a few caramels or chocolates to go.
