Excellent customer received from the front desk manager Patrick and Octupos server Cynthia. She was very attentive while we are having our breakfast. The best avocado and french toast I ever had that I eat it right away and forgot to take picture of it but not the best French toast!. Pet friendly hotel my dog enjoyed walking by the beach! My dog enjoyed watching TV too! 🐶

I will first start with the good. The staff were ALL amazing... every one of them. Kind, respectful and attentive. We loved the location of the hotel far enough away from the crazy loudness but close enough to walk. We loved the beach bar & the bicycles, chairs & umbrella you could use that were included in our resort fee. Now the extreme disappointment. I had booked an ocean view suite with a deck. I paid extra for an ocean view suite with a deck to surprise my husband. The pictures on the website showed a direct ocean view. When I went to check in the staff told me it was not in the building directly on the beach but the building we were checking in at which is across the street from the beach. He hyped it up & said it is a great view. I thought surely this will still have a great beach view since I paid extra for it. Nope, you could hardly see the ocean unless you stood on a certain part of the deck because the other building (we should have been at) was in the way & we were only on the third floor in this building. I was SO, SO, SO disappointed. Second, I got a text asking if everything was okay with our room. I explained one of the towels had icky stains. They apologized and said someone would be up right away to bring a new towel. No one ever came. Thank goodness there were extra ones in the room. I did put the do not disturb sign up on the door when we left for the afternoon because I don't feel comfortable with people coming in our room when we aren't there so maybe that's when they meant they would bring up a clean towel??? I don't know if I would book here again or not. I just wouldn't want to be deceived again. 😩

Just a great resort in Lauderdale by the Sea. I have stayed here many times over the last few years. always a great time. Fabulous location on the ocean and walkable to downtown. The pool, bar and beach are wonderful. The entire staff is so helpful and welcoming. Suzette at the front desk is a delight and Julie at the pool bar does an amazing job. Can’t wait to get back

5 stars for this hotel! i loved the private beach with chairs, umbrellas, and drink service. they also had complimentary bike rentals, which was so fun! we visited the coffee shop and breakfast restaurant, which were both fabulous. The service was also superb. a special shoutout to: Keiffer, bianca, cynthia, suzette, delano. I would definitely come back!

Great location and very friendly staff! I had family from Europe visiting who loved it. The value was great and the food , coffee and pastry was delicious! This week I recommend Plunge Beach resort to a friend who spent 2 nights there... She loved the cafe and the cleanliness of the rooms... Value was great, she will be back! Thanks

We stumbled on the Plunge Beach Resort while driving in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea and reserved our room late on a Friday evening. We chose it because of its location near restaurants, shopping, etc. And boy oh boy were we impressed and couldn't believe our dumb luck. The rooms, restaurants, bar, swimming pool were all outstanding but the beach! You literally walk onto the beach from the bar area where the resort sets out lounge chairs and umbrellas for you daily! It was absolutely awesome! The resort also includes bicycles which we road to the restaurants and shopping just down the street. That was perfect too because parking there is scarce. We would definitely stay again and refer friends and family!

My girlfriend and I had such a wonderful time staying at The Plunge. The room was impeccable and the view to the ocean was amazing. The hotel's staff were all super helpful on getting us everything we needed, specially while we were on the beach, their attention was always on point. I noticed that they are getting ready to remodel the hallways, we will be coming back to check this out! The charging stations outside of the hotel were also extremely convenient. Very very very pleasant stay!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean, the location was great. We didn't need a car. The beach access and getting lounge chairs and an umbrella was awesome. It is quiet but still close to what you need. They had plenty of staff you never felt like someone wasn't taking care of something. For breakfast I recommend the omelettes! Thank you Plunge, I will be back!
