You know this place is awesome. It's big, spacious, wet, dry, interactive. You know all of this. What I want to celebrate is their absolute devotion to diversity. Their name tags have pronouns. Their name tags have pins related to their beliefs. Their books (we did story time) are not dedicated to the hits - but to others whose voices vary. Every single staff said hello. Attempted to engage me and my family. Authentically. I have to say, while the museum was all I remembered... the warm, welcoming, diverse enthusiastic staff is why I would return.
Set in an astonishingly beautiful old building, this is a highly expansive, magical place with tons of great things to do. Can easily entertain children 2-7 for at least 2-3 hours. As expected it can get pretty crowded in busy times and holidays. But it's so big you can usually find a less overrun area. The water area is a bit weak, when usually that is the best part of kids museums (thinking specifically of the one in Pittsburgh). Just not much to engage the kids other than splashing around. The Alice in Wonderland area is okay but the kids had no clue what it was, and there wasn't much to interact with. The art center is fun, and the store is really cool (just extremely chaotic). Our favorite area is the space area, which is kind of off from the main areas.
My kids absolutely loved it here. We all spent hours running around to every station. My friend brought her 3 kids as well. The only issue I had was the 30mins we spent in line. I felt like that was a little ridiculous, considering I purchased my tickets in advance. They really need a better check-in system. They only gave priority to members. I don't think it's right to have people standing outside in the cold. People had babies and light jackets on because they were expecting to get into the building quickly. Otherwise, we had a great time and will definitely be back.
First time coming out here and was highly recommended by my sister in law. The line was long but purchased our tickets online. The boys had fun but they had different interests which area they want to check out first. But they have managed to check out every places except for the carousel. I didn’t pay for the carousel rides as I was expecting we didn’t or will not have enough time to check out the whole place in less than 2.5 hours We didn’t get there and inside until 2 pm. They keep the museum clean and there was two workshops happening that we opted out or the schedule didn’t work for us Would we go back again? I’ve asked my 6 year old and he said yes!
We have taken two sets of nephews here at different times and they have both loved it and us adults love it too. The Alice in wonderland is my favorite part. This time we stayed till they closed cause we got there late and they had a fun little parade downstairs with everyone to walk together back up stairs and then they did a little dance party upstairs to get everyone together to leave and the kids loved it and didn't even notice they were doing it to leave and it was brilliant!
My kid loves this place. Already visited 3 times. We usually go during the weekdays, and there won't be any lines. There is ample parking in the street during weekdays. My toddler's favorites are water play and grocery areas.
Celebrated my daughter‘s second birthday here and she had a blast!! It’s a great place for low income families that receive food stamps through welfare if you provide your card to them in the front; the entrance fee is only two dollars up to four people!!! They changed their ticket policies for the carousel and now it’s unlimited rides for five dollars all day!! Honestly it was the cheapest most eventful day I’ve ever had taking out my kids!!! I can honestly say I spent $20 at most because they also allow you to bring outside food and you can eat at any of the designated tables. And if you need a highchair they provide that too!!!! We went and visited on a Sunday which they opened at 11 in the morning and they close at 4:30pm and we were there all day they even added little arts and craft classes between the day that you can sign up for and it’s for all ages!!!! I definitely plan on returning and buying season passes to go every weekend with my kids!!!!!
Awesome Awesome time my family & I had here.. next time we will come earlier to enjoy more of the exhibits they have there. All age children will learn and enjoy their experience here. We will DEFINITELY be back. So much for children to learn here. SO MUCH

Coffee here was amazing! The iced latte was great! The black coffee was something else! So fruity and aromatic - truly a great experience! Very much recommended getting their beans too!
A must stop if you are in Philly!!! Kevin's creations are incredibly delicious. Put down the cheese steak and go grab some tasty vegan, gf and dairy free options. Dessert=a meal. Back-to-back visits made us super fans!!! Pls open up a place in J-
Joined on a student membership for the summer and really enjoyed my experience. All the trainers were highly knowledgeable (and incredibly athletic) and made sure everyone felt welcome in the gym. When I was dealing with a shoulder injury, they were
