Me and my Fiance booked the Grand room for two nights and it was worth every penny. The Hosts were accommodating, kind and so pleasant to talk to. The room was just as advertised, clean, and had a lovely balcony with a small table, lots of storage, and a spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfy and there were extra pillows and blankets. The breakfast part of the bed and breakfast was above and beyond. Delicious and different every morning. Good portions and filling without being too heavy. We will be coming back in a heart beat this place really made this trip special. Plus it was easy to find and about 20 min from Anacortes and Burlington, which was the perfect location for us.

Mike and Theresa made us feel right at home, and may have ruined hotels for us! Located in a beautiful farm/forest area with goats, chickens and sheep we could visit and feed, the rooms were well-stocked, beautiful and homey. Our comfy, large bed in the Grand Room was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. The breakfasts are as varied as they are delicious, and our hosts were especially helpful for any need. Would happily recommend Pleasant Ridge to anyone needing a cozy place to stay in the Mt. Vernon/La Conner area.

We stayed here for the Tulip Festival at the end of April for 3 nights. This B&B is just lovely! Very clean, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious each morning! Theresa and Michael were excellent hosts. We didn’t spend much time lounging or exploring the property since we were out and about all day, but the grounds were beautiful. The location is perfect for being close to everything, but out of the way enough for peace and quiet. We highly recommend.

Mike and Theresa were wonderful! Theresa is a lovely host and Mike a great conversationalist. The location is just gorgeous and the price cannot be beat for what you’re getting! We stayed here for our tenth wedding anniversary while we explored the natural beauty to be had along Deception Pass Park and the surrounding area. Their homestead is so beautiful that we could have gone just to experience that, rather than the state park! They have some very friendly farm animals and our final morning we were enchanted by a doe and her fawn just outside the kitchen doors where we were breakfasting. My first impression on walking in the Goldfinch room where we were staying was what a lovely homemaker Theresa is; the scent of the room was mild but divine - something close to thyme I think! Theresa also accommodated my very particular food sensitivities with two incredibly well made breakfasts. They had many wonderful suggestions for places to eat and explore! We only wish we could have stayed longer!

I enjoyed our stay very much! Beautiful and inviting home, very comfortable accommodations, and a delicious breakfast with coffee and juice. Theresa is a gem! I can't wait to go back and stay again.

This was a brilliant choice, we arrived after a long flight, it was an easy drive from Seattle. Theresa had given us lots of advance information but was on hand to greet us. A great host, she offered lots of helpful suggestions on what to do and where to eat. The Goldfinch Room was delightful, spotless and beautifully equipped. The bed was very comfortable and both bedding and towels were top quality. Theresa produced a delicious breakfast the following morning, all freshly cooked. I wished our itinerary would have allowed another night.

We’ve stayed here 2 times (so far!) and love it. It is a wonderful place to relax and recharge. I think our favorite activity is just lounging in the backyard (in the hammock!) and reading books. We enjoyed extended chats with the hosts Mike and Theresa after breakfast and really enjoyed connecting with them. Down to earth people who work hard and are truly gifted at providing hospitality. Their home is clean, beautiful, and has that “craftsman” feel. They set the bar incredibly high for a B&B. If you’ve never stayed at a B&B before (which was the case for us) I would definitely recommend giving it a try. So much more value and enjoyment compared to a hotel.
