My wife and I book this through a popular Booking Site, for a quick overnight stay on our way through the area.||The Property looked dated, but the Lobby looked decent. The person On Duty looked put out that he had to come to the counter. He was quick to point out that we booked a No Smoking Room and that we "No Smoke". I paid, to which there was a damage deposit (which was credited back the following day. After he handed me the Key Card, he stated "No Water Water" in his Middle or Southwest Asian Accent. I asked him "What?", to which he replied the same thing. ||We got to our room, to find it very small by modern standards. It had a fairly new looking headboard and side table arrangement, with wall mounted light fixtures.||The Power Cord and the Cables for the TV were freely hanging away from the wall.||The Flooring was poorly laid Laminate. There is a gap between the Laminate of the Main Room and the Threshold into the Bathroom. There was damage to the Bathroom Wall, that looked like someone had punched the Sheetrock. The Tile in the Shower was Cracked. ||There were Hand Towels and Bath Towels, but No Washcloths. And there was No Warm Water.||As I commented to my wife, "To call this place a Flea Bag Motel would be an Insult to all other Flea Bag Motels"||I will happily Share my Photos if it helps raise awareness of such places.
I don’t know where they got photos of the rooms but I’ll show you the real deal here… the only positive thing I can say is that it’s inexpensive, which certainly shows when you arrive. The fridge was gross, the smoke alarm was bagged (which has to be illegal I’m assuming), the whole place smelled like a cigarette butt can, the vent in the bathroom was sickening, flies and bugs all over the place. I slept in my clothes just in case. The other good thing is that I didn’t get bed bugs which I was pretty concerned about. All in all this place is the worst spot I’ve ever seen but on the bright side it was cheap and no sign of bed bugs. 👍🏽
We asked politely with 5$ tip for new towels at the front desk since the cleaning staff did no clean our room for two day despite the fact we were not there from 8am to 6pm. And got scolded by the man at the reception telling us hotels dont work like that you already have towels (the same one for 3 days and we went to the beach so they werent clean at all anymore) and the worst part is.. i know how hotel work i work in a hotel. So super bad customer service and we had a 1/2 inch gap in our door when we close it so we could hear the traffic all night long. Oh and i did not get my deposit back even if i left the room cleaner then it was before with a 15$ tip for the poor cleaning staff who has to endure the whiny man at the reception.
If your looking for a small room to sleep in this is your place. Make sure if you use the fridge you totem the temp down. The tiny pillows were a little strange but the room was clean and looked freshly painted. Our blinds were a disaster. Also there was no soap...... not to wash your jams or bathe. Nice enough people
Front desk was rude. Dumpster in center of parking lot. My room was basic but newly remodeled. Heater in the room worked.
Positive: Nothing Negative: Almost everything the shower didn't work no hot water in the sink hair all over the inside of the mini fridge
The room smelled nice, and it appeared clean. That was the good. Oh and plenty of shampoo and body wash, which I liked. Now for the bad. Druggies living in rooms next to ours, cockroach infested, dump literally behind the hotel that you smelled when leaving the room. Surprisingly even though it was a smoke free room our bedspread had cigarette burns. Now for the worst. The drug addicts living there were banging on our wall, sounded like they were throwing furniture, and in the morning there was a hotel phone on the ground in front of my car. Not sure if they hit my car or not..couldn't tell if so. The staff said they knew who did it and were going to kick them out. I think they did because it quieted down after that. I would recommend paying an extra 10 bucks or so for a nicer place. The location is right next to a 4 lane highway, so hard to get out of the parking lot.
Positive: The room itself smelled great. Plenty of hot water in the shower, and really liked the fact they had shampoo and bodywash dispensers rather than tiny little bottles. There were a few signs that some people had abused the bedding, etc. But overall nice room Negative: Was next to a dump I believe, so smelled bad outside. Terrible patrons beside us banged on walls, threw hotel phone out and found that in front of my car. They did get thrown out though I believe. We saw an actual cockroach. That was disturbing! Negative: ""
