Stopped for 1 night and absolutely loved it… 2 fur babies loved their special treats and water bowl provided! Genuinely Friendly and pull up right to the door made it super easy to unload… Nice spot to hang out if you wanted too! We were cozy and had dinner delivered but everything is so close! We will be back ! Bathroom flat like a spa! Decor was perfect! Not too big of a room but so comfy and felt like a little piece of home !
We stayed for two nights with two small kids and it was great. The check in went fine, we felt safe, and our kids loved playing with the outdoor games/activities. The pricing was great and we were satisfied with the room. They really thought of everything and it felt home-y. Would absolutely stay here again.
I found myself in a hard situation of another reservation falling through and needing something last minute. I was referred to this place by their sister property. I was so grateful for their assistance that led me to stay here. It was so easy to check in. The room was obviously recently remodeled. It was so clean, with a simple and modern design. There were lots of extra amenities like cutlery, plates, cups and toiletries. Besides the bed being a little firm, everything else was wonderful and I would highly recommend it.
We finally found a truly dog-friendly hotel! The Playpark Lodge went beyond just giving us a doggie snack and water bowl. They also had extra covers for the furniture, a towel, and even a handler shower, which is super important when you bring your dog out into nature. The room was really cozy, clean, and fresh. Big thanks to the staff for their amazing hospitality!
Location was awesome! Lots of stores and trails nearby. Room was hot! No AC. Leaving all the windows open and fan on the main room was hot. Uncomfortable to sleep in the warmth. Finally cooled down around 2am. Not sure if it was the insulation in that particular room?? None of the rooms had AC.
Playpark was perfect for our trip to South Lake Tahoe because of it's location to the venue we were attending on the 4th and 6th of July. It was clean, and roomy enough for our party of three. The ceiling fans did the trick since it was exceptionally warm this year. Swamp coolers, or some sort of air conditioning would be ideal. We needed more coffee cups for our three day stay, though. When asked, property manager must have forgotten?
Stayed over for 1 night. Thank you for allowing us to check in earlier. Nicely decorated, spacious room. We enjoyed our stay!
Pristine, cozy room and great location. Wonderful amenities. Feels like a loved property that makes you feel cozy and safe in a large tourist destination. Pet friendly, they provided a dog bowl, special sheets and towels and a little dog snack for our pet which made us feel so welcome.

The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms were extremely clean and well stocked, even the kitchen had everything we could potentially want! The bed was super comfortable, the heated floors in the bathroom were great. (Down one star for our ground fl
Great experience. The hotel is well located near restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, and beaches/trails. The rooms were well remodeled and quiet. Check in was very modernized and easy, and the staff reached out the night before (and the day of) to m
We stayed in the Rubicon Room and it was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was wonderful and we absolutely loved the lodge, the roaring fireplace, the big beams, and the gorgeous courtyard. Well worth it!
The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
The Mt. Tallac trail is an amazing trail to hike in Lake Tahoe. It isn't easy, about 4.5 miles from the trail head to the summit with about 3,300 feet of elevation gain. The second half of the trail is mostly all rock and is very steep in parts. The
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners. There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job! It
