As soon as you walk in , you're kind of mesmerized by all the colors and materials they have around. Makes you feel like you're definitely by a beach. The menu was nice and big; the ingredients were explained well, and they had visual of the cup sizes right by the cashier. This was my first time going into Play Bowl, so I have no idea what I was getting into when I ordered the Electric Mermaid... it just sounded cool, lol. Least to say I was not disappointed. My order tasted amazing, and I just had so much fun with every spoon changing up my bites with all the different fruits it came with. Definitely would recommend this place if you want something light and cold. The staff was super nice, and the restaurant was extremely neat and clean.

They take they time with your bowl. The lady greeted me so nicely. They gave me a super full bowl. Ok if you go here i dont what you like you have to try the tropical bowl and take out the coconut and replace for strawberries and you won’t regret it. The area that the store is located is so clean & peaceful

Very disappointing. Medium and large on board for smoothies. Was told could only get large.unlike what was displayed. The price was don't remember exact as a place I mentally noted would not go back.it was atleast 20.00 for two smoothies. I could not even describe their taste mine was supposed be banana almond milk, peanut butter,. None of those flavors appeared in mine a watered jumble with not much flavor. Large looked like a small cup.and what else just as pathetically humorous was the Playa bowl was like a kid size portion in little plastic cup for a hefty price also. And watching all the college crowd sitting talking away with their bowls.they all looked less than thrilled with their Playa bowls ,just jabbing their spoon back and forth with facial expression in disappointment.surely no exageration. It a new place to try and hang out.but I don't see it being much as prices hefty .portions tiny.and flavorless colored water practically. And walking in I was not greeted and welcomed by a girl either ill or just plain miserable as she was pouting looking about to cry as waiting on me ,so unfriendly. That girl was having a bad life or something. So nit professional or friendly. You don't make tips like that ladies.consider this my tip to you miserable girl whom waited on me.so sorry I bothered you and threw away my hard earned money on such lousy service and products. I will save us both trouble ,never again.word travels!

As for customer service I'm always treated with a smile. All the ingredients in the bowl have a great taste off freshness. Waiting to see those grill pear ,pineapple and mango on my bowls som🤔

I travel here from Meriden, and have never had a bad experience, but never a great one either. I went today for a quick stop and the woman with the red hair who works here forgot to put honey on my bowl. No big deal, but when we asked for the honey that we paid for, she claimed my bowl did not have honey and then after arguing with her that we paid extra, she tried to blame the kid working with her, when I saw him put it in the system correctly. It was such an uncomfortable and negative experience that could have so easily been avoided. Don't ask for honey- apparently, it's triggering. I definitely won't be coming here anymore.

Always friendly staff, great bowls that are delicious and healthy. Could eat playa bowls 4x a day.

My friend and I went into this place today. My friend has a very severe dairy allergy, which will cause them to be in the hospital having an anaphylactic reaction. The lady making my friends smoothie was hostile and unwilling to accommodate to my friend’s deadly allergy until asked multiple times to. I am flabbergasted by how disrespectful she was, especially given the circumstances. We will not be going here again!

Definitely a go to spot when you want to eat healthy but also want to eat something that tastes delicious !
