Visiting 'Play' at the Broadmoor was an absolute delight! The culinary experience at the bowling alley exceeded all expectations, offering a diverse and delectable menu that far surpassed typical bar food. The atmosphere was incredibly inviting, with a lovely dim, calm ambiance that made it the perfect spot for families to enjoy a relaxed and enjoyable evening. What truly set 'Play' apart was their attention to dietary needs. The menu featured a thoughtful selection of gluten-free options, ensuring that every guest could savor the mouthwatering dishes without any concerns. The staff's knowledge and understanding of food allergies further emphasized their commitment to providing a safe and inclusive dining experience for all patrons. From the moment we stepped in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Overall, the combination of exceptional food, a fantastic atmosphere, and a dedicated staff made our visit to 'Play' an unforgettable one. I highly recommend this venue not only for its entertainment but also for its outstanding culinary offerings. It's a true gem that sets the bar high for an enjoyable and inclusive dining experience. We can't wait to return for another delightful evening of entertainment and delectable dining. Thank you, 'Play,' for a memorable experience!

This is an exceptionally cool bowling alley located within the Broadmoor Hotel. There are only 6 lanes, so it is somewhat difficult to get reservations during the prime time slots, but the experience is really nice once you are in. Also, keep in mind that if you want to bowl, you have to book directly with the establishment. Booking through OpenTable does not work.

I approached the host desk, no one was there—they were all out serving/bussing tables. No big deal. However, I stood there for about 10 minutes and SEVERAL employees walked by, none offering to seat me. Ok—they’re busy, I get that. Then a group of about 7 walked in behind me and one of the employees from the bowling shoes desk immediately greeted them and sat them at a table. After this happened, I left. Suffice it to say, I was motivated to share this review after that.

Always a memorable Christmas trip with family at The Broadmoor. Just relax and get pampered at (The Spa). Go shopping, play golf (summertime), go bowling or swim, hang out in the jacuzzi. Pet friendly 🐕 2013-2022, we will continue this tradition every year!

The Play at the Broadmoor was very disappointing. Don't expect to be treated with the same respect as the other restaurants at the Broadmoor. We were seated and waited for 20 minutes for water and a menu, table games were never brought to us so we had to get them ourselves. The nachos were terrible, although the burger was good. They seemed unorganized and did not care for their customers or attention to detail. It's a terrible idea to have two separate reservations - one for dining and one for bowling. It sure made our experience frustrating.

e had reservation for The Play for Bowling and Dinner. When we got there was a large party in our shared lane..We asked the waitress twice to clean our table top prior to sitting there… the lanes had a cleaning sign up but no one was cleaning anything between games..or in shared space? THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG with the water at the Play. It smelled terrible and tasted worse..Some of the water tasted ok and our server said the machine dispatches a funny tasting water and the Tap water is very good. What kind of 4 star resort has a terrible tasting water? We were there a month ago and the same thing happened the water tasted terrible..during our time bowling we didn’t see the waitress for a while and had to go to the front desk to order appetizers. Then we started at 3:30 they assured us we would have 2 hours..the game shut down at 1Hour ..50 minutes so no one got to do the 10th frame ..$350 which has a 20% service change added but no one would say that was a gratuity.. Then we went to our dinner reservations at 5:30 at the Play..we ordered Bread to start..he brought 2 baskets but no plates? I had to go to the bar to get some plates for our table…. the butter was a frozen round balls..try cutting them without it shooting across the table..first time humorous the next not so much. We then waited for almost an hour for our food..the Mac n Cheese was Tempid..one burger was suppose to be medium and it was WELL DONE..The birthday boy ordered meatloaf that was Burnt. I had to go ask Alfonso at the front desk to take it back and off the bill.. Mediocre at best for $500 worth of cheese burgers we should have had excellent service and excellent food..Not so..Falling Stars for this place!!

Corden Powell is a useless manager. We made reservations online only to be informed upon arrival that online reservations are only for food. The manager, Corden, walked away immediately after hearing the situation and let his junior employee take the heat. Pathetic leadership and not what is to be expected as an experience at such a nice resort. Also, fix your online reservation system - unless your guests are expected to be mind readers, even your staff admits the reservation system is ineffective.

Ok so you are at the most expensive and best resort in Usa so it should be good. It is and the trappings and atmosphere from Presidents photos on the wall to Neil Armstrong and Buz Aldrin photos on the huge wall at the bi annual Space conference gives you an idea the level of patronage this place attracts. I could not fault the place.

My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didn’t get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
