Service was great. When we walked in, it was very obvious they'd just recently burned something quite badly in the kitchen. The sandwiches we ordered were just 'meh' at best. Burned bread rather than toasted. Bland unseasoned meat & fillings. Not very fresh, their choice, of store brought potato chips. Way terribly overpriced menu items. BIG mistake we didn't go anywhere else!! We wanted to try somewhere new. We should NOT have tried here! Other topics? Not kid friendly. Parked on a sheet of ice! Almost no other place. Not wheelchair friendly at all! Be careful if even an unencumbered person! Be careful! Go almost anywhere else in town for lunch...
Hole in the wall bar popular with locals and friendly to out-of-town visitors. Small kitchen means hot and cold sandwiches and food prepared without the benefit of a grill like ribs, pizzas, etc. Portions are filling. I enjoy the calzones and the ribs were alright. It is a bar - but there are family friendly seating areas just off the bar.
Absolutely a must stop if you're in Fairplay! Service is excellent and the food is absolutely delicious! My Chicken Wrap was so fresh and just... I want another one already! Can't wait to be back again!
The food and service were fantastic. The best calzones my wife and I have had for years and there was a great beer selection. Our daughter stayed busy checking out everything on the walls. We highly recommend stopping in for the food, drinks and amazing atmosphere.
Stopped here while on vacation for lunch & my wife & I both loved it! If you are a cider drinker definitely try the ACE ciders! Also the BLT with sundried tomato Mayo & the canzone was delicious!! Our server (can’t remember his name but he was a younger man) was so sweet, genuine, & gave great service!
Super awesome place in Fairplay. The service was awesome and quick! They have no age limit on the pool table so my 10yr old was able to have fun and learn how to play. He had such a good time making memories AND HE DIDN'T EVEN WANT HIS PHONE!!!! (That's a huge win with kids now a days)
Their Cobb Salad was great, yet their Chili came out cold... The sole waitress was friendly, yet overworked which ended up making her a bit slow to check on tables. In fact, it was one of the cooks that brought us our food because the waitress was given too much to handle. Hopefully, they'll be able to get some additional help.
Ellen operates a GREAT place to grab a drink and meal. Friendly staff, Great food and that small town feel. If you don't stop in, your missing out!
This was a beautiful and fairly easy trail to hike. We started at horseshoe campground, hiked the trail, and then walked the road back to the camp site. Took us about 3.5 hours, but we stopped at to take pictures. Would certainly recommend this trail

Excellent food. The salsa looked different than most Mexican restaurants but tasted amazing. Service was acceptable but not stellar. Restrooms were not clean.
We stopped by for a late lunch. Two of us got breakfast burritos and two shared a lox bagel. Food was great! The atmosphere was good - very small and fun. If you're in town...stop by for some lunch.
