Love this place! Friendly staff especially Mary and my Personal Trainer- Elizabeth is amazing. She is encouraging, knowledgeable about appropriate workouts and nutrition needs, and makes it fun with her positive, witty personality. So many things & events for all ages. It is a great community!

Heaven on earth! The Platte County Community Center South creates a community and atmosphere that brings people together and allows people the opportunity to reach their fitness goals and meet new friends along the way. The Wellness Coaches are very friendly and knowledgeable on all the equipment they have. They teach you how to use everything as part of your membership. They have a wide variety of programs, a huge variety of machines, New free weights, pool with lap lanes and fun for the kids, sauna, steam room, track upstairs, studios, a conference room, basketball court, showers, classes, etc. I've been with them since 2006 and don't plan on leaving. I would highly recommend checking it out with a free trial membership. It's the best gym hands down. I couldn't ask for more! They are also about to reupholster all their equipment the 2nd-6th of January 2024!

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst facilities I have ever encountered for membership. I recommend ensuring you get everything they promise in writing especially if you're trying to process a cancelation, as I did, over a month ago both on the telephone and then with confirmation in person. They will charge your account after your requested cancellation and then NOT honor a refund when you call requesting one - instead they will blatantly blame you and call you a liar for their $90 accounting error. It is also unfortunate that patrons must suffer, especially in today's economy, for managements lack of appropriate policy training of their younger staff. Very disappointing customer service.

I'm really glad to be a member of the gym! I love the track on the second level & I'm looking forward to utilizing the pool in the future. But mainly I want to mention the amazing women who work in the infant's room. They do such a great job - handling so many things at once while taking great care of the kiddos so well. So glad my little one gets to enjoy the gym as well! She seems to really enjoy going and the ladies there are so sweet.

Great place to work out or walk around. Like people works there and work out there. The pool, the sauna bath, hot tub, steam. Family changing room. This place have everything you need or wnat. Even they have baby sitter for members. Great community center.

I love all the fitness classes they offer here! Everyone is so friendly and the kids programming is really great! 10/10 would recommend this YMCA :) The Les Mills classes are always fresh and exciting!

I love working with my trainer, Jantzen! He's very knowledgeable and encouraging. I love being able to swim and sit in the hot tub after I work out.

We love to swim and workout here. Staff is wonderful. Finally getting more lifeguards helps! Clean facility, dressing areas are always being cleaned. Pickleball every afternoon in the gym.
