Food was great, service was good too. Just a bit pricey — burgers were like $18+ and ribs $30+
I have eaten there twice, dinner and lunch. Had Stroganoff with prime rib in it for dinner. It came with sour cream zigzagged across the top of it for presentation. This detracted from the tasty sour cream/onion/beef sauce that was blended with the pasta and meat. Dry parsley flakes would probably have accented this better. The prime rib in it was obviously a way to utilize leftover prime rib which is a very fatty cut of meat. The gobs of fat and gristle ruined my appetite as it was not well trimmed out before preparing. Ditto for my son who ordered the same. Lunch was the "88 burger". The blue cheese in it was fine. But the sauce (mayonnaise/ketchup mixture) that comes with this clashed. Would you add blue cheese to "thousand island dressing"? Could have been better without the sauce, by adding mayo, mustard, and ketchup on the side. Their portions and quality of the ingredients are very good and the taste overall is appealing. Prices are on the high side but are compatible with the semi-remote location and lack of high volume.
Brussel sprouts were amazingly delicious, I had the salmon and hubby had the rib eye. Plates were on point! Will be back again very soon. Not 5 stars because service was slow on my drinks n took forever to get check. We get it their busy but we got the attention of our server eventually.
We went for dinner tonight and not only was the service amazing (thank you CieCie) but the food was delicious!! My son devoured his chicken and alfredo and the rest of us cleaned our plates! Everything was fresh and let me tell you about the RANCH DRESSING 🤤🔥🔥🔥 it is homemade, and I’m not talking about opening a packet and adding milk 😂 amazing, can’t wait to go back and support this family business that obviously LOVES their craft!
Really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the service was attentive and friendly. We went for dinner, and two of us only needed appetizers and drinks to be satisfied. We even had leftovers to take home! We got the brussels sprouts, fried pickles, and pulled pork sliders - all of which were absolutely delicious! There is a full bar plus many wine and beer options. The main reasons I'm giving it 4 stars overall and not 5 is because 1. there could have been a few healthier food options on the menu (so many things were fried!) & 2. because I'd like to have seen a drink menu with some fun signature options! We ordered bloody marys mainly out of a lack of ideas at the time. They were quite good (I like mine made very spicy and I was not disappointed). However, it would have been nice to have had some drink options presented to us. Overall, though, if you're in the area, this is definitely a place to check out! I am excited to stop in for brunch soon!
Overall, pretty good experience. We got the brussel sprouts appetizer, the cheese steak sandwich and the chicken burgundy. No complaints with the cheese steak and fries, but with such great beer cheese they definitely need to add house made pretzels to their menu! The chicken burgundy was delicious, chicken was juicy and loved the amount of mushrooms and veggies that came with it. The only complaint I have about the dish was the mashed potatoes, they were dry similar to the texture of left over microwaved mashed potatoes or the kind out of a box. Our appetizer came out after our entrées (no biggie) but they were slightly burnt but a little less time cooking and they would have been perfect; a lot of great flavors. Great menu, would love to see more spicy options like deep fried jalapeño coins ect.. but overall I think once they have some time to work out the kinks they will be amazing! Definitely recommend giving a try.
Great place to stop! Salmon salad was excellent and the cheese bread served with it was yummy too. My husband’s burger and onion rings were delicious too! Server was really friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
My buddy and I were on our way home from a 6 day motorcycle trip and stopped here for lunch completely by chance. We had a beer and some really tasty food. Well done.
