Came here for some grilled oysters after a disappointing stop at another spot. Place was very nice. Great view of the river. Great service and the oysters…. Chefs kiss! The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was bomb too!
Zoe was my server and even with how busy the whole restaurant was she made sure to make me feel well taken care of and heard throughout the entire dinner. The drinks were perfectly made and the food was to die for! I definitely will be returning sooner than later!
This place feels like going to a speakeasy. Upstairs and around a few turns leads you into a cozy bar that features rustic details that play off the original features of the building. George Washington and a flag that doesn't recognize Alaska or Hawaii watch over you while you eat the best food you've ever had in your life. Seriously, everything is perfectly cooked and tastes so good. The vibes are immaculate and the guys there were really nice even though we had come in pretty late.
Scott Ohnmeiss… The roasted oysters were absolutely mouth watering. They arrived with melted cheese on top of them, and were amazing. They were so delicious I ordered a second order just to take home with me, yep, they were that good! The staff and service were consistently asking if I needed anything else, very courteous and helpful, a big tip, you betcha. They earn every star of their 5 star rating. You must try out this place and you will not be disappointed!
From the view, to the atmosphere, to our waitress Faith, to the food… Planters is one of my absolute top 3 restaurants ever! I have eaten across the country at extended places . We’re soo fortunate to have an amazingly talented chef in our little southern nook. The house salad with 2 choices of dressings, also complimented the fries fried in duck fat. The duck wrapped in 🥓 was more than divine, it was a mouth filled with flavorings consisting of sweet, smoked, crunchy, meaty to savory flavors bursting on your every palate .
The creme brûlée was a light sweet end game to our experience.
I’m leaving the pizza for the last to review. The cheese wasn’t our favorite. After sharing our thoughts with our server, sounded like this is a work in progress. Excited to taste the new oven baked pizza. Overall… we enjoyed ordering a variety of items and sharing them. Thank you ☺️ again 💕
August made the BEST DRINKS & Zoie was the best server & recommend the most amazing drinks made by August! Zoie also recommend the best thing on the menu (duck wraps). She has such an amazing personality and just all around great! I will definitely be back thanks to Zoie.
Traveling through Monroe, we made a pit stop at Planter's. The food, the service, the ambiance, everything was fantastic. The Nashville hot chicken was juicy, crispy and spicy hot, the homemade pickles were the perfect complement.
August is always an amazing server and makes the best drinks! You have got to come see him at Planters! Hands down 10/10! 🤩
Man, oh, man. When I think of good food and where I should travel to eat good food, Monroe, Louisiana, doesn't even crack the top 100 on my list. But after eating at Parish, Monroe is in my top five! Hidden away in an industrial area, Parish comes up
We just popped into Okaloosa for a cocktail and an appetizer and ended up spending a couple hours there and having a full family meal. Payton and Emma took care of our party of 9 people perfectly. We loved the Rock Start martini, the meatballs, and t
The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Got in quick. Was very clean. I had the Bbq Burger. It was very delicious. Loved the fries. The homemade pickles were to die for. Husband got the Shrimp Polenta. It was so good. The Fried Green Tomatoes were

I came out and tour the apartments I met with this lady name Kendra. She was very nice and sweet! Also very professional. She showed me around the apartments. I was very pleased at what I seen. I signed my lease the same day! Highly recommend if you
Our kids (ages 11 & 7) really enjoyed our quick visit to this awesome military and aviation museum! First of all itâs totally FREEâ¦.canât beat that! Secondly the staff were so friendly and walked us around each room, answering questions and sho
Just had a quick hour to spend, and glad we did! There was a program promoting hunting and fishing while we were there, so it was pretty loud and busy. But one of the park attendants caught us and filled us in on where to go for the short hour we had
This is about the only place in Monroe that you can find hot tamales. There is another place but they don't stay open year round. We have been eating at Southside Coney Island for triple digit years. Yes try them out. You won't be disappointed.
Place is usually easy to get in and out of. Frozen meals make busy days' dinner easy. Better than frozen grocery store, not quite homemade. Bakery items are always fresh and good.
So glad I found this place to bring my grand baby! So much for kids to do and see. Alot of science and hands on experiences. Puppet show availability, EMS learning, mini fire department. I would recommend this place to anyone with small kids. We wer
