Plantation House - Featured Reviews (115)
This is going to be one of those "I wish I could leave 10 stars" reviews - - we needed a place to stay for the solar eclipse, and we chose this one. PERFECT choice. I would stay here again, zero questions asked. Luey and Norris are marvelous! ||We stayed in the third floor (The Cole) which was beautifully decorated and appointed. The morning breakfasts were terrific, and the hosts were genuinely warm and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to ANY friend or family member. Terrific!
I owned them this review. We are a couple from Costa Rica.
We visited the Plantation House when my now husband took me to Austin to celebrate my 40th birthday.
I cannot explained, how much we loved this place. I became so special to us. The owners are just incredible, friendly, respectful and very attentive.
The breakfast is something we still dream about, it was delicious.
I hope to be back in the near future.
My wife and I had a great stay in Plantation House. Owner Luey is the sweetest lady and an amazing cook. Breakfast she prepared for us was simply the best. It was light, but tasty and flavorful. Room is spacious and has a balcony with a nice view to the courtyard and greens. Location was perfect for my needs as well. Street in front of the house is small and busy, though. So when you are in and out, it would be little bit tricky. However, once the construction is done, it should be much better. The only downturn for us was that we only stayed one night. We will definitely come back when we go down to Austin area and stay longer!
Exceeds expectations. A truly one of a kind experience from anything else we have found in Texas. If you're a married couple looking for a place to recharge, look no further. We are already trying to find another time to return! The host, amongst other things, make this a place to remember.
Spectacular. Friendly. Awesome. Dang I wish I did not have to write a great review because it will just be harder to get another reservation but Luanne and Norris deserve it. Impecable home, tasty treats and breakfast. Truly left feeling sorry we were not staying longer.
This place is amazing! Not only is the property impeccable and so well done, Luey is the most joyful host ever. You can honestly sit with her and spend hours talking. What a great host, she made us feel at home the moment we entered the house. The house smells amazing, everything is so clean and beautiful and her banana bread is to die for. I can't wait to return and take my daughters to this hidden retreat. Loved our Valentine's Day stay!
Incredible property, immaculately decorated. Hosts were incredibly friendly and over the top with amenities like fresh med cookies and banana bread. Rooms were MASSIVE and individually decorated. Breakfast was incredible. Sad we couldn’t stay longer. Will be back 100%, for only a few bucks more then a hotel, this is a great stay!
Nestled in amongst the booming housing developments in the growing town of Pflugerville, Texas lies a charming place called The Plantation House. The opulent wrought iron gate welcomes visitors and beckons them into a time long forgotten. The pond filled with ducks and geese make the guests feel as though they have left the city and traveled deep into the countryside. As you pull up to the large impressive house you are filled with a sense of old world style meets southern comfort. The hostess greets each visitor as though they are family and her bubbly personality puts you at ease immediately. Upon arrival, you are given a complete tour of the home while the hostess shares bits and pieces about the house and the treasures that lie around every corner. The rooms are filled with warm lights and amenities to rival any 5 star hotel. This bed and breakfast plantation home is definitely a hidden gem that everyone needs to experience.
